Just back and I loved NY!

I have a chronic case of jetlag right now so don't know how much sense I'll make today (........ I'm asking for it with a remark like that ) but we had a fantastic time!!!
I am not a city person but I really love NY!!

The wedding reception at the Plaza was wonderful and we squeezed in as much sightseeing as we could too.

American Airlines were fine - I have to admit to an acute attack of nerves on take-off both ways, particularly on the return take-off, but it was an excellent flight with a great flight crew and to DS delight, seatback TVs!! ( I have flown several times since September 2001 but not with this airline).

I'm not sure if I'll be able to write a coherent trip report ...... my head is bursting with memorable moments and observations in no particular order! Perhaps I should just write them down as they come to me?
We took our trusty video recorder which we used for many things except of course it didn't accompany us to the Plaza......... they had an official photographer snapping away all evening as well as a huge camera recording all sorts. I'll try to find out if they will be available on-line.
We also had two still cameras and any photos worth bringing I will bring to the meet but we are much better with the video than our APS cameras!
