Just back and I LOVE CR update w/pix!!

Loved the pictures! I never really thought I wanted to stay at CR except for the convenience of the monorail, but now, after seeing your pictures, I want to have that experience too! Thanks for sharing!!!

Thanks everyone for looking at my photos. I'll be posting more later but for now I still have to unpack and my DD starts school tomorrow. I'll also try to do meal reviews as well so stay tuned for that.

At which restaurant did they offer the cookie that your DD was painting? On Unwrapped (Food Network) they had a special about some of the different desserts the WDW hotel restaurants offer to kids but I haven't found any by looking up the menus.

We are going to Disney in less than 2 weeks (unless Frances causes havoc here or there). Staying 2 nights Poly GVC and 2 nights CR Tower. I was thinking of modifying and staying just at Poly but after seeing your pics I plan on keeping it the way it is now. I know 4 nights and splitting our stay but we want the best of both worlds. This is our monorail vacation. If we can't get there by walking or monorail we aren't going. LOL

Have fun!!

The cookie painting is at Concourse Steakhouse. The food was pretty good. DD loved the chicken.

Thank you for sharing your photos. We are going to CR in December for the Christmas holiday. It'll be our first time at CR.

How did you like the location of the Wing rooms? How convenient is it to get to the Food & Arcade center, main building? What about the boat launches?

How did your daughter like the resort? My DD will be 8. A room is a room to her but the decor is definitely different.

Thanks again!

Cookie question....

Do you order that as a dessert? or do they just give it to the kids? My girls would love that when we go there in a few weeks!

pics are great. I thought I had made up my mind between WL or Swan, but now CR is in running too. How were the busses to the other parks and the monorail to Epcot?

Great pictures! Do you have any of POFQ? I would love to see those also. :)

To answer your ?'s

My DD LOVED CR. Words can't even describe. When we first checked in she was bouncing all over the place . I ended up having to retake almost all of the room shots because she was a blur through every one! LOL:hyper: Love the wings The view was so pretty out our patio door. That's the tree shots in the photos. It took about 5 minutes to get from the from the room to the monorail station from our room. Further rooms may take a couple more. THe Food N' Fun Center was maybe 3 minutes tops. There is a little short cut that took me 2 days to notice. A side door leading right out the the north wings that is past the seating area. I;m glad I found it because I hate walking through a hotel lobby in a wet bathing suit. The boat launch is right behind the main building past the pool bar and snack place and the marina rental buildings. About 5 min walk at a slow place. It would be the same for towers rooms too but without the wait for the elevator.

The monorail to epcot is great. We were a little sick of busses after checkout of POFQ so they may be biasing my opinion. It's maybe 5 minutes form CR to TTC the hope over to Epcot Mono for maybe 10 more minutes. The 2 times we went to epcot the mono timing was perfect no wait at the TTC. The busses however share with Poly and GF but upside is CR is first on and first off.

The cookie is on the Kids dessert menu. It's pretty pricey for a cookie(around $4.50) Ouch!!

I do have POFQ pix coming. I took almost 800 photos so I'm still uploading them. Seeing the fam this weekend and as they have no digital camera I will try to get them all online by then for easier viewing. I also have a few Poly, GF Riverside and PC photos. Once I get the all uploaded I will sort them into less confusing categories.

Sorry this is SUPER Long. I just want to make sure I get everyones ?'s answered.

Thanks for the CR pix. That is the next resort we want to stay at (after the 2 upcoming trips we have reserved) My son really wants to stay at CR, so if I can get a good rate on it, we might add a couple days to the April trip there.
