We just got back and my little boy was given one of the Year of a Million Dreams pins with Tinkerbell on them. My son is 5.5 and this was his second trip. I had been reading about the pin trading and I bought him some pins on clearance at the Disney Store before the trip. I wasn't even sure if he would want to do it but on the 2nd day of our trip, I gave him the pins and he absolutely loooooved them! He had the pins that I bought him and a few that his Nana and Aunt had bought him throughout the day (to fill up his lanyard) and was tickled to death. We went to MGM and not long after walking in, he saw a CM to trade with. She was an older woman and absolutely SWEET! My son looked at her pins hanging from her belt and said "Will you trade me your ______ for my ______?" They traded and then she started asking him how long he had been trading the pins, which was his favorite, etc. So, she said "hold on a second and let me get something for you". I had a feeling what it was going to be and she pulled out the Tinkerbell pins and told him all about them. He was absolutely thrilled with his pins and she told him how could keep one of them but he had to share the other. He told her he would, thanked her and off we went to our reservations. Right after we walked off, he got his aunt's (she's 30) hand and said he was giving the pin to her. She's a big collector (of lots of things) and was tickled with the pin too. After he gave her the pin, he had to run back to the CM and tell her who he shared it with. For the rest of the trip, he had a fabulous time with the pins and would tell all the CM's that he had gotten the Dream Pin.
That's the only dream we got but it was enough for me b/c it made my DS ecstatic!!!!
