Well on May 2nd I had my stomach doing flip flops and couldn't breathe as I approached the Wonder. I was confused and felt I really needed to learn my way around to feel more comfortable. I thought I'd get sick, but I didn't and had the time of my life on my first cruise. We met a beautiful English couple and a lovely couple from Iowa. We ate and ate and ate and now will diet and diet and diet. This morning as we disembarked it was not an easy thing to do and keep the tears in. I had a lump in my throat and realized that I had to leave what I now consider my old friend. She is a beautiful ship and everyone was stupendous and I have not one complaint other then the trip was too short.

My word of advice is that I thought people were more dressed up at night for dinner and shows then I had perceived off of the boards here. Maybe we were just with a more formal crowd. I had wished that I had brought some semi-formal clothes as well for pictures. There were many people in dark suits and long dresses as well as many beautiful princesses waiting to meet their favorite princess. There is always an opportunity to get a beautiful family picture taken. Disney definitely made this trip a very relaxing fun experience even down to picking up your luggage. So all you future first timers, relax and enjoy because if I can do it.......anyone can. Until we sail again my old friend.....

How beautifully written! Glad you had a wonderful time - Sounds like you'll be visiting your old friend again!

::MickeyMo Glad you had such a wonderful experience on your first cruise ! Now join us next time on a 7 day cruise ! I agree the 3/4 day are too short. We ,also, did that our first time and couldn't believe how fast it went. Also, the ports are much better on the longer cruise ! Happy planning for your next cruise.....that's half the fun !::MinnieMo

Thanks for the beautiful trip report. You made me cry!!!

I am so happy for you. Your trip sounds like a dream come true.

Did you re-book while on board?

Thanks agian for taking the time to share.

Hi Everyone, Nope we didn't rebook. We can't travel next year for any long period of time as our daughter has some serious testing next year as well as it being a very difficult university schedule so we don't want to tax her with watching the animals for us. Maybe we'll be back on board the following year. I truly hope so.

When you think of the Wonder, you must smile as it truly brings the kid out in you and I saw nothing but smiles on board by most of the kids (except for the one frightened by Ursala in the one show) : )
