just back AKL and Poly Concierge.

Thanks steve that makes sense now. I didn't even go in the shower building, I guess I should have done more snooping.

We will have to see if any of them pics turn out they are still being processed, we had my motherinlaws camera which is so so, ours broke last minute, isn't that always the way.

Thanks for the info. We (me, DW, DS1, DS2) are off to the Poly on Saturday :bounce: for a week. Can't wait. First trip to Disney for the kids. We are staying Lagoon View Concierge. Glad to hear that the concierge food was good and plentiful. We were planning to use it in place of a couple of meals just like you. Will report back when we return.

You will love it, your kids will love the ducklings in the streams they are so cute, lagoon view wow.

We really enjoyed the food in the concierge, especially when you have a family with you. The fridge is in the armour, at first I thought I did not get a fridge in the room, lol then I found it.

Try the guava juice, the cookies in the afternoon are great. The water bottles sure come in handy. The view from the lounge is fab, but I bet it is the same one you will have from your lagoon view room. Lucky you.

We took a couple of hours just taking the boats around on a non park day and visiting wilderness lodge and contemp then onto the monorail home. Everyone is so nice there.

Are you going for patio or higher up. On the gardenview side the ducks came to our patio and we fed them some whole wheat bread that I bought.

Have fun,

Deb.

Thanks for the info. This is our first trip to WDW with the kids and decided to go all out with the lagoon view and concierge. We asked for the 3rd floor to get the best view, but I think our kids would have loved to play with the animals on the first floor as well. We may see about changing it when we get there. We will be hanging around the hotel the first day too. Will go to the pool and check out the pool, etc. Then off to MK on Sunday. Can't wait.

Glad you had a good trip.

Where is the elevator in the Hawaii building? Near the lounge or mid-building?

Also, did you pay rack rate for the 'added day' stay? Did they let you add the day at a discount?

TIA
