Just back - A few thoughts

Great idea! But could I just make a plea that people also tell them about all the great aspects of DLP and not just the problem areas? If anyone wants to take up Russ's idea this might be useful:

Yes, that is also a great point, Di. In general, people are far quicker and find it easier to complain than they do to praise. It is as important for a business to know what they get right as what they get wrong.

Thanks for the e-mail address, let's see if we can help DLP address the problems and all work together to make it a better place.

After our first visit I had a complaint about a particular CM and emailed DLP about it on their official website contact page. I got no response so emailed again. Still no response so I sent a letter through the ordinary post. Eventually I received a response, though a very defensive one. After our second visit I emailed them to say what an absolutely wonderful time we had had and how great the CMs had been, which was absolutely true. Boy, did I get a quick response to that!!!!! :rotfl: People are always much more responsive to praise of course and I think that making positive comments and suggestions could be quite effective - we are, after all, all wanting the same thing - a better park for everyone.

But as I say, most of the time it doesn't bother me at all! There was only one thing that irked me this trip - on the Armageddon ride they got the French-speaking people to come to the front of the first room, and the rest of us were really segregated. The cast member was evidently cracking jokes that only the French-speakers would understand (they were all laughing), and not translating them. I found that a bit off - I don't know if it was a one-off but it certainly made us feel a bit... unwelcome, so to speak! Not in the Disney spirit at all.

yeah... that was the same for us... all the french speakers were laughing and cheering... we didn't get what was going on...
