Hi all.

DW and I have returned from spending 9 days at the world. What a great time we had. We stayed at ASMu, did all 4 parks and Universal. I took lots of notes so I can Trip report our experience to share as lots of you have done. All in all a fantastic time filled with properly executed plans and sudden bursts of magic.

I would love to answer any questions you may have so please ask away.

Glad to be back home.
Steve

ps: Just a tidbit. We purchased "Guest of Honor" badges. I can't tell you how many folks in the parks asked me questions about how to get places or what times shows start or whatever AND how many cast members mistook me as one of their own. In a way I worked there for a short time and I got payed almost as much.

It is great to hear that you had a such a wonderful time :)

As far as questions here goes: How was the weather? Was COP & Timekeeper open? Did you think it was very crowded? Hmm that is all I can think of off the top of my head but I am sure I will have more later ;)

My question is..... did you watch Spectro and if so, where from? Also, did you watch Jammin Jungle parade and if so, where from? And lastly, did you watch Wishes and if so, where from?

I have some spots scoped out from what previous posters have said, but still looking for that "perfect" spot!.......Thanks.....P

The weather for this city boy was fine. It was about 40ish in the early am and had warmed up to about 70ish midday. While it never rained on us, only one day did it stay pretty cool all day long. It should be warming up soon.

Timekeeper was open as was COP. COP broke down during our ride and the scenes were repeated. Some progress. Yes they were open though to enjoy.

MK is always "crowded" to me but we pretty much walked on to everything (except Fantasyland in the afternoon, go early) or had short waits.

Yes we watched Fantasmic from Front and center. Arrived about an hour or so early and knawed on a turkey leg to keep me busy. I would give yourself the time to claim a spot.( You asked about spectro but oops)
As for Spectro we saw it twice. Once from just over the bridge on the lefthand side as you enter Liberty Square, great spot with the colorful castle in the background of all your pictures. AND we were fortunate to have VIP seating for the Saturday Spectro. Amazing. Simply amazing. As if the whole parade is for you. The seats were on nice benches right on the bridge.

As for Wishes, three times thank yo very much. Best spot I can recomend is anywhere in front of the castle especially around the hub. Wishes was Great. DO NOT MISS.

Did not see JJP. (only parade we missed, sorry)

How did you get the VIP seats for Spectro Magic??

Sounds like you had a great trip!!!:sunny: :sunny:

I had a conversation with one of the hotel's manager one evening explaining to him that I was not so impressed with the hotel's housekeeping. (no extra touches or attention to detail, just beds made and garbage bags replaced) I let him know I was enjoying just about everything else. He was happy to make us happier. He let guest services know @ MK and our name was put on a list. It was amazing showing up 10 mins before the parade started with nice seats waiting for us with fresh hot cocoas in hand.

Yes, it was a great trip, thank you.

We had the SAME experience at ASMo!!! Just the bare minimum of services. So sorry I didn't speak to the manager about it. We were too caught up in the rest of the "Magic" to go anywhere with it! Happy for you though!!! Sorry we didn't see you!!!

It just reinforced my "policy" of letting those in charge know of whats going on. I am in the hospitality business myself and guest feedback is an important tool we rely on. Never fear letting someone in authority know how you feel about your experience. I for one really appreciate a guests feedback especially negative ones. The Manager could of assured me he would look into the situation, thank me and be on his way but his response to make me happy, a small gesture on his part easily made the highlight reel of my vacation memories.:D
