Welcome back Steve, It sounds like you had a wonderful time.
That's great! Congratulations on your anniversary.
My question is, you said :Boat ride back to Boardwalk then back
to POR, how did you get back to POR from the Boardwalk?
Just curious.

Wow, your post has me so excited. We are going to be staying at Riverside in November. It sounds like the food court and lounge were very good during your stay.

I heard there is a singer in the lounge sometimes. Did you see him while you were there?

When is the rehab on the pool supposed to be done? We are going in March 2003 and my kids will flip if they can't swim. (Also, in March, we are paying top $. I don't want to pay top $ without access to all amenities, right?)

Steve: Glad you had a great trip. Happy Anniversary.

I'll be at POR in 10 days (will it ever come!). Did you use bus transportation to the parks at all? How was it?

Thanks

Sandi, I was there at the same time Steve was. I used the busses on Saturday only. They were fine, never waited more than 10 minutes... it's all in the timing. LOL

Coming back you always go through POFQ first, but there's only one stop there.

We have the same Anniversary! You weren't married in 1990, too were you? My DH and I spent ours in New Orleans this year but I would take WDW anytime.

Debbie7452L: We were married in 1979!!!

Sandi: We didn't use the buses...had a rental car which we find more convenient.

Cinder1: Pool rehab only thru January from what i was told.

Ariella: We didn't see the singer but overheard people talking at breakfast that he had the joint jumping on Sat night.

Winniemouse: Took the boat to BW and where we had valet prked our car.

Thanks for the review! Did you notice if it seemed extra crowded (from the CBR closing)? We purposely scheduled our trip during a "slow" time of year and I'm worried POR won't be as peaceful as it would have been otherwise.

Hopskip: The resort was empty...no waits in food court or Boatwrights...maybe 10-15 people in pool both times we went.
I don't think you'll have a problem. Your'e going to love POR.

Steve,

Great trip report. Thanks very much!

We are staying at POR end of October and are definitely looking forward to it. What was your opinion of the rooms? Clean, well-kept?

Did you get the chance to compare Alligator B to the Mansions?

Thanks again...
