Just Back 8/30 - Our Crowd Strategy

We just got back late 8/30. Here is the strategy we used to deal with the crowds and we were pleased with the results. We went to each park at opening the day after that park had late magic hours. From opening to noon we were able to ride most popular rides twice with little to no wait. A few times we got FastPass, but when we returned we didn't even need the FP to get on the ride.

Almost every night we went back to MK (except for late magic hour night) from 8PM-10PM and either walked on or had a very short wait for the rides while most people waited for and watched Spectro and Wishes.

Got to both waterparks during EMH (everyday for resort guests). Left by noon because crowds started to become UNBEARABLE.

Crowds seemed very manageable that week.

We just got back too..........I do not recommend utilizing the EMH at night! The lines at MK were by far, longer than just the regular lines throughout the day! Can't speak for the a.m. EMH as we just usually got to the parks early after opening, but the nights were ridiculous! Got to Blizzard Beach right at 9:00 and went on many attractions with little or no wait. After about noon or so the lines did grow, but not real crazy.

We were there last week and we used the EMH for the little tikes (we had no kids but you could still use the hour) We got there at 8:20 (the bus took a long time to get to BW and then had to pick up other people) By 9 we rode PP, Snow White, Pooh, teacups,had time to go to the bathroom and was right bythe raceway when the the park opened. We were one of the first people on SM. By 10 we had done SM, Buzz, CoP and TTA

We never used the late night hours.
