Made a quick trip - DH and I - our 2nd - 4 days:

Stayed at Polynesian - wonderful! (stayed concierge - wow - send money - I want to do THAT again!)

Weather - perfect - warm (almost TOO warm on Saturday!) - no rain

Things I did or saw for the first time (some were recommendations from the DIS boards):

Rode Mission Space Green (non-spinning)
Rode Nemo (charming)
Saw Japanese Candy Lady (incredible)
Picked a pearl in Japan (7mm, pink, no gong - but had set in lovely white gold ring)
Saw a few minutes of British Invasion, Off Kilter, Southside Johnny
Illuminations (No one word can describe it!)
Rode Figment (fun)
Morphed DH and I into Tiger and Kitty photos at Imagination and sent to home.
Tom Sawyer Island
Maharajah Jungle Trail

Those were the new things - did all the other usual attractions and rides but DID not make it into POC (WAY TOO CROWDED!) or Liberty Belle Riverboat (RAN OUT OF TIME!). Did not go to MGM this visit.

We did not do commando and left parks each day by 3 PM. 1st and last day were only evening and morning. No DREAM Squad noted but did see a few Fast Pass Lanyards. CMs were all wonderful and smiling. No bad stories to relate. Only a very few line cutters. (People did HOG the sidewalks at Epcot).

Ate WAY too much. Was at F&W and tastings looked good but I had ADRs and didn't want to spoil appetite! Ate at Le Cellier (FABULOUS STEAK!), Tony's Town Square (ENJOYED VERY MUCH) and KONA Cafe (PASSED BIL TEST WHEN THEY CAME IN FOR DINNER - Fantastic as always!)

Crowds - HUGE HUGE HUGE. Manageable but we left as they SWELLED in the late afternoons.

There you have it. If any questions, let me know. :thumbsup2

PS: Never saw ANY Lime Green Mickey Heads - wore mine but sadly ... no DIS members met! :sad2:

Welcome back. thanks for the great report. Did you get to read about the new pilot program for return guest? It's the new deal where Disney will offer you a discounted stay if you book before you return. We are hoping to hear more news about this.

Thanks for sharing. Was Mission Space (green) OK? I'm afraid to ruin a day @WDW being sick after Mission Space so I've skipped it.

Did not hear anything about discounted return at all!

Mission Space Green. I found it to be very mild. There is a lift off sensation and when you are poised over the edge of a canyon on Mars it can be disconcerting but no DIZZYNESS factor at all. I was afraid to ride this but we got bonus Fast Passes when we got our Test Track Fast Passes and I really liked Mission Space. You ride in little "pods" of 4 people and we rode with a mom and boy around 6 years old. He was into it so we were saluting him, etc... FUN! :thumbsup2
