Day 3
Went to MK on this day. Sunny, a little overcast. Free parking again
. Took the boat over and got a great view of the GF. (Wish I was rich). Search at the tables outside was quick and seemed pretty superficial compared to the airports. Walked down Main St. and looked at all the differnces from DL. Different Firestation and it is a store inside. Buildings look a little grander and more detailed. Saw Cinderella's Castle which is much grander. Went straight to Tommarowland. Looks better but not as many attraction. went on BUZZ. Christian loved it. GREAT ride. Looked at the line at Space Mountain and Christian did not want to go. Speedway looked like a 30 min. wait. So off to adventureland. Went on the new Aladin ride. Looked great and watch out for the camel that will get you wet! Went to the Tikki room. Loved it! Great re-theme of it. Have not seen it since I was a kid. Went on the jungle cruise. Exactly the same as DL. Went over to Thunder Mt and Christian liked this one. Time to eat! Went over to Crystal Palace w/o a PS and no problem. almost empty. Great food and Pooh, Tigger, Eyore & Piglet came by about 4 times and even sat with us. Gorged ourselves. Went outside and the Parade had started and got see the last 1/2 or so of it. I love the idea of stressing to kids to dream and imagine. I wish I was a kid again. Luckily I can live through my son. HAHA. Went over back to Tommarowland and went on Alien Encounter. Told Christian the Name of it was "AS-Tech" like the sign says. He already knows Alien Encounter was scary and he can read now so we wanted to see if he could deal with a scary ride. I know this was probably really mean. Well he did not do well. I had my eyes closed through most of it. It was the scariest ride I have ever been on. He was crying. I held him and told him it was not real. Well that was it as far as scary rides for the whole trip. He will probably be skidish for a long time now. He is a brave little kid and his cousin are more afraid than he is. Went to go find Pirates of the Carribean. I did not see it when we were in Adventure land. Found it and it really looks different from the outside, the DL is themed as New Orleans. this one is really Carribean. Ride beginning is diffrent and only 1 drop instead of 2. Once inside the rest is the same. I little dissapointed. DL is better. MY FAVORITE RIDE ALWAYS. Went on Haunted House and outside look great. The DL is a antibellum Mansion. Inside identical. Had to waist 30 minutes before fireworks. I wanted to go to Hall of Presidents, but no one else did. I went by myself and I loved this also. DL only has Lincoln. I think it used to have all the presidents too. This was great. Got outside to see the fire work, but on the backside of the castle. Kinda bad view. Left and went to DTD. Walked through and liked it. Much bigger than I imagined and walked form WS all the way to MP end by Rainforest. Went back to Resort. Tommarrow Halloween!
DAY 4
Went to BELZ Factory Outlets to check out the 2 Disney Outlets. Very large outlets and spread all over the place. Not just in 1 building. Great deals. Everything at least 50% off and all Disnet resort stuff. A little bit of TDS merch. A lot really yucky stuff, but some great items as well. Spent about 120.00. Got a great Mikey Socereer Watch. Straight to BB! Late by this time. Got to the park and forgot ticket at resort. Rufina and Christian went inside I went back. Waisting TOO much time. 2 way radio worked all the way from BB to Mcdonalds and stoped working by the time I got to the ASMO gate. Drove back and parked again. Only had about 4 hours at the park by this time. Pretty packed. Wait for Slush Gusher was about 45 min. Rufina went and I stayed w/ Christian. Lots of fun slides. Hot, overcast and muggy today. Left at a little after 5:00pm. Had lunch there and that was the longest foot long hotdog I ever saw! In the spring will spend much more time here and I hope TL will be open too. Back to the room to change. Was unable to get MNSSHP tickets so the boards told me DTD was the next alterntative. Christian put on his "MIKE" costume and took pictures down in the TS courtyard. The maintence crew was watching all the kids from the 3rd floor by the elevator and loved Christian's costume and clapped at him, very special. It was ok, but disappointing. I know Christian was dissappointed. The only stores that I found that had candy was the Disney owned stores. Planethollowood store did not even have anything. Went inside PI before 7 and the game booths had candy. All others had "Wonderballs". Lots and Lots. Black beads to give out too. Like on Mardi Gras. Went and ate at Rainforest Cafe. About 15/20 minute wait. Bought tee shirts and some great prices. Very good and full. I had the BBQ beef wrap and Rufina had a chicken dish. Can't remember which one.Went back out and all the stores either rain out or stopped giving out at 8:00pm. Oh well at least we are in WDW!!! Walked back through. Lego did have a special Halloween Lego piece that they gave out. Walked back to Westside where we parked. Long walk. Went back to the resort. Lots of people coming back from MNNSHP. I guess it was really crowed intially, but thinned out. I don't think many people stayed til midnight. Tommarrow AK!
