We are still down here in Disney, and tonight for dinner we went to Boma.I really wanted to try it,but I was also a bit on the nervous side hoping everyone in my party would like it.We are here with friends who are newbies.
Anyway,it was excellent! I am so glad I didn't cancel this reservation as I so often thought about doing.
Everyone loved this place and enjoyed their meal. Our only bummer about the whole night was that we had a bad rain storm while eating, and we got wet beforew coming in to the restraunst, which had the air conditioning on and we soon were freezing. So if you have reservation,I suggest you bring a light sweater with you..lol.
Otherwise,it was the best meal we had here so far.

Thanks for the encouraging words about BOMA. It's on my list of ADR's to make for our trip in January. I also was hesitant about the food offerings, but I've read so many good things about it that I can't wait to try it. Glad you enjoyed dinner there; thanks again!

Thanks for the review! We will be eating there on the 25th; we're really excited about this ADR.

Glad you had a good time; sorry about your weather (indoors and out!)

Have a great trip!

Hi heartofdisney,
Thank you for posting your experience at Boma. I have really wanted to try Boma though I am a pickey eater. It sounds like everyone can find something they like. I will add that to our list for the next trip. Thanks again for the info. and glad everyone had a great time.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the review, with all the GREAT reviews I have been reading here I booked a BR & a dinner ADR...............11 more days............

Hey - we may have seen you at Boma - we were also eating there last night also!

What did you think of the soups? I have a gluten allergy so the chef brought me some gluten-free butternut squash soup from Mara, which was good but oddly sweet (had cinnamon and nutmeg). I had a spoon of the mulgatawny soup (sp?) but it seemed very sweet also. The taste of the potato/bacon was wonderful though.

I have a birthday ADR for breakfast. I just LOVE it there!:goodvibes

Hi Crabby Patti!
We were there at 5.We did sit next to a table where the chef came out to talk with someone at the next table...wonder if that was you? Haha
I loved the butternut squash soup..very delightful, but yes,a little sweet too.I really liked the corn and spinach stuff(don't know what it was called)but it was great! I loved many things..very happy I kept that reservation!

Glad to hear it! We're eating there during our December trip, and I know my dad and husband are both really hesitant about the menu. Sounds like they should certainly find things they like!

I have to say I love Boma. That is a must on my dinner list. I do go with family members who don't like it. For me it's the best.
