Howl at the moon was a great night, a packed house, duelling pianos and an open bar.
I was going to do the report when i got in but that would not have been possible, i think it would have been unreadable.
I would recommend a visit to Howl at the moon for adults on your trip,really great.
Anyway today is our last day at Homewood suites so wil be heading down to highland reserve for the weekend, our friend arrive on Friday so will spend a couple of days with them before heading to Miami for our 4 day carnival cruise. Looking forward to that, though there has just been a report on the news about an employee falling overboard and going missing last night, that is the second in 2 days, will have to wear my wings i think.
Dont know if i have a wireless connection at our next place so will update when i get chance, hope it is not too cold at home, high 70's for next week here, bye for now.

Just gor to house at Highlands reserve, beautiful house with six bedrooms, only 2 of us in but 3 more arriving tomorrow.
It has been a bit cool today, mid 60's and breezy, it is set to get better tomorrow.
Spent some time at Mall of Millenia this morning but was not really in the mood as a bit hung over, then went to Prime outlets, this is much improved on the old Beltz in my opinion. DW got herself some new Nike trainers,they have a chip in them that measures speed , distance and calories, what will they think of next, as uncle Bryn from Gavin and stacey would say.
Felt the need for lunch then so went to Nascar at City walk, had a nice beer and some buffalow wings, hot style, very nice.It was very busy there, dread to think what the queues for rides were like.
Just going to chill at the house, drinking the left over wine from Olive garden the other night.
Dont know what others think but been out here on highway 27 seems slightly too far away, i dont feel to be in amongst the action, still the house is beautiful.
Think we might go to Clearwater beach tomorrow.

We had a drive on the 27 and know what you mean about it been further out - but if you don't mind the drive or are not going to the parks too much who's complaining??

One thing I noticed was that there didn't seem many places to eat - or did I miss them?

no there does not seem to be much nearbye.went to am Applebees tonight but it was packed out and loads waiting, did not fancy a wait so got a takeaway pizza and sat watching TV at the house.

We felt Windsor Hills off 192 was out of it after staying around LBV area so much so Hwy 27 would not be a consideration for us.

Glad you are still having a good time. You certainly notice the temperature drop when it comes but it soon starts to warm up again.

The first year we went we stayed somewhere in Kissimmee and it took us about 25 minutes to reach parks along jammed I4 lanes but we didn't know any different then. Now stay as close as we can to parks.

Morning all, up early again today, 5.30 seems to be my waking point.

It is a beautifull day today, warm and sunny, set to get into the mid 70s. Looks great for the weekend too.

Went for a run this morning at 7am, just taken the cover off the pool so think will be taking a dip.

Friends are arriving this afternoon which is good, their Virgin flight left Manchester 20 mins late so that is not too bad.

That's interesting. My parents are looking for a villa for when we go out in December, and we are staying in it for our final week as a wedding present. We were looking at some of the places on the 27 (Sunset Lakes, Glenbrook) but I thought they looked too far out and not much around them.

We are looking at Indian Creek (I think it is, just off the 192) which looks a bit closer to everything we want to do.

house looks lovely-have to agree with you,we have stayed on the 27 three times in the first few years of going to florida and for us it is too far out, now we prefer to stay just off the 192 at the other end between old town and medieval times, we have stayed at The Hamlets which is a small villa complex and now are fave is Indian wells, even though the houses are older they have more outside space and are on a residential estate,the one we stay in backs onto a lake-full of gators!
Indian wells is 1 min from the 192 and 1 min from the 535(2 mins to world drive) and 1 min to osceola parkway and is just behind the walmart. Ideal position for all the parks,we love it!!

up at a ridiculous time again,we spent last night round the pool eating pizza and drinking beer, friends arrived after virgin flight that landed early, they had the biggest car i have seen, good to see them. They had paid for a dodge durango but they had none in stock, there does seem to be a shortage of rental cars this year.
Anyway off to clearwater beach today, weather looks great so should be fun, will post some pictures on our return.
