Hee hee, I know, we will have to watch ourselves in Vegas with all that food around!

We aren't going to Santa Monica or Hollywood this trip. We are staying at Crowne Plaza in Anaheim for 2 nights, then going to Las Vegas and staying at the Flamingo for 5 nights, then Sheraton Anaheim (castle looking one) for 2 nights, then 7 night cruise on RCL and back to Sheraton Anaheim for 5 nights (Disney).

We plan to do Target from Crowne Plaza as I understand it is opposite. We really want to get to a Walmart and also a shopping mall/centre for some good shopping.

That Sheraton is on Ball Road so no problem in getting to the Village at Orange, the bus will stop outside your hotel...Check the schedule for that route though, there aren't as many buses as the Katella route, it pays to know when your buses are departing so you don't walk out and have to wait 40 minutes... The OCTA site gives you printable pdf timetables of each route, print one before you leave...

There is a Target straight across the road from you at the Crown Plaza, that might be a good time to do the Gardenwalk shopping centre as it is a short walk up Harbor, turn right into Katella and it is right there...

Sounds like a great holiday, would love to hear about the cruise when you get back... We did our first cruise this year in the Greek islands and loved it, a bit worried about cruises out from NZ as you hear of so many having problems with big seas heading up into the islands...

That's great news. Just jumping on a bus outside the hotel sounds easy. I will look at the OCTA site link that you have given me and print off the time table to take with us. This will be our 4th cruise and 3rd cruise with RCL on Mariner. The last two times have been around the Caribbean so looking forward to sailing out of LA. I know what you mean about sailing out of NZ. I feel exactly the same and figure I can leave that until I'm a little older and can't fly as far. Although I'm seriously looking at sailing on Radiance of the Seas (RCL) out of Sydney in 2012. She sounds like a gorgeous ship.
