Just applied for DIsney Visa to pay off trip.. How long does it take to get??

why put yourself in a place where you own money on a credit card, it may be 0% right now but later it is alot more..also why not just send in a little as you can until it is paid off...as long as you are paying they will not cancel you...this is what more than one cm told me just last week.If you really want the card it only takes about a week or so to get it or they will send a letter declining you...also I have heard it is really hard to get that card (unless you have really good credit)I have the disney visa but not to pay for vacations,i got it so that i can get free dining early if they have it,or to get the rewards i will put something on it and then mail in the money for it so that it is paid right away and i still get the rewards.

OK, you sound like my mother... :lmao:
Because if I don't, I have to cancel my trip, my final payment is due next Wednesday... and I live for DISNEY!!! If I don't put it on the new Disney visa, then I'll have to put it on my consolidation card and I don't want to do that.
First of all, I've already had the Disney Visa and had no problem getting it. I canceled it when I got married. Me and DH have perfect Credit. And some things occured this year that we had to pay for AFTER we had already booked Disney. DH got a new car (so there goes $400 a month in his new car payments), I had some unfortunate health problems, etc...etc...etc...
Second of all, I'm going to put my balance on it, and now I'll have 6 months to pay it off with no financing... Piece of cake. Then I'll either cancel it, or keep it for emergencies.

Thanks everyone for letting me know you all got it within a week! Hopefully I will too ;)

YES!! HA!
I just called the 888 # and the recording said I'm approved and will arrive in a week!!! YAYAYAYYAYYYYYY!!!

there's only the Disney Visa by Chase. at one point, Disney had its own credit card but it wasn't a Visa (or MC).

The Disney Visa card by Chase is the Disney Rewards card. And yes, it has the 6 months no financing charges for all Disney vacations. That's a free loan (plus rewards points). Not using that is just stupid, if you're smart enough (and able) to pay it off before the interest rate (which isn't as awful as I was expected, for us) kicks in. Most people aren't, that's how they make their money.

If you can control yourself credit-wise, and your credit record is good, get every rewards card you can and pay them off every month. It's free stuff. And keeping them paid off only builds your credit rating.

Plus, don't they sometimes offer codes only for Disney Visa card holders? That's why I got it.

We got ours before the recording even said that we were approved (5 days I believe) so I'm sure you should be okay.
