What if Disney gives the option to their Cast Members that have chosen to be vaccinated & are physically able, to be their Characters actors?? Maybe create areas where those Characters/CMs that are willing can interact more with guests, take regular photos & sign autographs and stuff? As long as guests are wearing their masks as well? 🤷🏻‍♀️

The issue is that it has been proven that those who are vaccinated can still be carriers of COVID and pass it on to others.

I don't believe that is absolute yet.
  • A growing body of evidence suggests that fully vaccinated people are less likely to have asymptomatic infection and potentially less likely to transmit SARS-CoV-2 to others. However, further investigation is ongoing.

"less likely" is not the same as "not at all." Disney will wait to do this until both the CM's and the guests are largely vaccinated, infection rates are down and herd immunity has been reached.

True. But still very different from saying it has been proven the vaccinated can still be carriers. The proof just isn't there one way or the other yet.

Pfizer and Moderna are showing 90% resistance to getting infected/being a carrier, while J&J is seriously lower at about 60 or 70%.
That's a lot of chance to get sick and/or spread still. Once most are vaccinated and the transmission is knocked down all over, we have herd immunity - and then the chance to catch it becomes almost none.

That's not what I or the article said. It says "further investigation is ongoing", i.e. it is not absolute.
