Just an example of the magic at WDW...

I love the pillows here. I can't find the perfect pillow at home. I'm always buying a new pillow and they're too soft or too hard or too fluffy or too flat. But the pillows here are perfect for me.

So, Gene went down to the front desk and asked to buy one. The woman tried to check for a price but couldn't find one, so she called housekeeping. Then she called someone else. The bottom line - they're not for sale... but they told us that we can just take one!

If I remember correctly, she's at OKW, in which case I KNOW some people are going to be rather irritated as it effects the dues bottom line. I couldn't care less...

I hope no one would get irritated. I was never going to steal a pillow, that's why Gene went to the front desk and asked to buy one. And if they hadn't told me that I could take one, I never would have.

You are right, some will complain....but.....there are much more important things to worry about than the cost of a pillow! After all, she did offer to pay for it. I hope no one holds it against her. That would be really sad!

If it makes anyone feel better, I think we have an extra one around here....I'll take it next trip and accidently leave it behind.

They gave us two Velux blankets once because they accidentally took our blanket out with the dirty linen at WL. Every time I sleep under my blanket I miss WDW.

It doesn't irritate me. And I hope you don't think I was accusing you of stealing as obviously they gave you one in good faith. I know there are a lot of members that get their undies in a bundle about things disappearing from the rooms. If my dues go up .000000067 cents because *********** got a pillow, then that's just OK by me.

The whole idea is that it's not just the pillow, it's the cup that someone took because they wanted a momento, it's the towels that someone took because they are better than the ones that they have at home. It's the guy who decided to take some extra soaps off a housekeeper's pushcart. I see the arguement - it's not as big of a deal like 5 people in a studio - but still...

I can see the arguement, but always think it's just not worth it, life is too short.
