Just Added 50 Points

Over the weekend we added 50 points through Disney to our recent (May 12) purchase at AKV giving us a total of 210 points. As I played with the point charts hour after hour I was surprised how I could make the figure 210 work for us no matter the size of accommodation and/or time of year.
But the real pleasant surprise occurred when our guide told us we received 50 more developer points for use at Saratoga. I figured since it was an add-on months after our original purchase that we'd be out of luck.
Plus we got the $8 off credit so the purchase price is $96 per point.
Man I love Disney!!... and thanks to our guide Bill Fuqua!!!

Hi! We are thinking of adding points to our AKV contract.
So are you saying you got 50 developer points PLUS the discounted price per point? Just making sure I'm clear as we head down to meet our guide in a few weeks.

Sorry for the late reply... yes we received both the $8 discount and the developer points. I should add I constantly reminded our guide how much I really wanted these developer points and to his credit he came through even though I believe he was told no at one point by one of his superiors.
