Just added 1 person to all my ADRs...painless

We're now taking DD6 on this trip, so I called this morning to see about adding 1 person to all my ADRs..No PROBLEM! Not even Le Cellier. The only one we had to rebook (at the same time though ) was 1900 Park Fare.

I was worried about Le Cellier... I would have shown up with her anyway. And have her sit on my lap if need be!! (just kidding...kind of

She also made sure all my ADRs were under the same name and phone number so it will be easy to pull them up when I get there. They had my name spelled wrong and the wrong phone number on a couple of them.

What size party were you changing from? 2 to 3?

I have a trip scheduled for early May. I don't know yet if it will be just me and my daughter (most likely) or if my husband will come too. I went ahead and made my ADRs for 3 because I figured it would be easier for the restaurants to deal with an ADR for 3 and only 2 show up than with an ADR for 2 and 3 show up. I asked the CM if I needed to call back and change if/when I knew for sure that only two were going and it sounded like it really wasn't necessary.

We went from 3 to 4. The CM said it was easier to go from and odd to an even..and most of the reservations, I was at a table for 4 anyway..1900 Park Fare being the only exception.

My mom and one daughter gymnastics trip has turned into mom and ALL daughters trip! DH and DS are staying home.

Yes, 3 to 4 (when they block out a four top anyway) or 5 to 6 (when they block out a six top) are not likely to be a problem. Changing from 2 (a two top) to 3 (a four top) or 4 (a four top) to 5 (a six top) can be harder of the restaurant is booked.

Same here! We'll be there over Christmas and have 9 reservations. We were able to move from 7 to 8 without a problem. CM said 7 have to be sat at a table for 8 anyway. The only one we had to reschedule was also 1900 Park Fair, but it was at the same time also. Weird?!

Yes, Disney books by the table load. Parties of three will be at a table for four, etc. So going from a part of four to a party of five requires another table and will be harder to add to the reservation.
