Just a warning for all

I have a few friends on my lists that are kids. You guys are great! I have one young friend who is lucky enough to have a stitch hat and he was hanging around in my room. He is very sweet and very kind. A girl came in and asked him to trade the hat "just to try it on". He was going to do it because he is so very sweet. I told him not to and she kept begging. So I booted her and thank goodness I was in my room and had control over it. She may have been honest and just wanted to try it on, but really - DON'T take the chance! Keep your valuables safe, OK? I just wanted to send a warning, I made him promise he would keep it safe. People may seem very nice and even become friends with you, if you have something they want. They could then take that hat and take you off of their friends list and it would be very hard to find them again. I always ask my kids to have my assistance whenever they trade, and that is probably a very good rule of thumb

good advice. i'm a kid, and it's nice to hear someone trying to help for once, instead of just saying, "hey let me try that on!" (i fell for it once or twice, but now, nobody touches my stuff!).
