Hey all!
Just a short note (and by short, I mean long) , we just got back from a short (way too short) trip "home"
SSR is wonderful! We (DW and I snuck out of town and left the kids with friends) had a Downtown Disney view. I loved seeing the fireworks from the balconey each night. Our building was only a five minute walk from all the shopping, and more importantly, from The Earl of Sandwich. They have the best turkey sandwich on the planet. Our first night home we saw La Nouba. We had great seats, and I would say to anyone that is undecided about going because of the cost, GO, NOW. I'M NOT KIDDING, GO! After the show it was over to Wolfgang Puck's for dinner and an adult beverage. Not that I don't love and adore the kids...but it was nice to be able to go to WDW and do grown up stuff.
The parks were dead in the morning. We were able to walk on to all the rides at MK. As a matter of fact, we went on all the cool rides before 11:30. By the way, while we went to Stitch, I would not consider it to be among the "cool" rides. It is new, and I'm sure the kids will want to go see it. But me? Not so much wanting to see it again. As a matter of fact the only ride that we had to wait for on any of the mornings was Soarin'. But it was worth the wait.
We took about 200 pictures (gotta love the digital cameras) some of which I will post after a much needed rest! Did I say I loved SSR?
