Does Alabama get it too?

I ordered them on the phone today, and it was so easy, no 100 questions or survey, just do you know there are black out dates? yep, ok bring your id to pick them up and done!

Thanks Metro West for answering a bunch of questions for me a few weeks ago. I didn't get a chance to post back.

11 days until ds drags me on the Hulk, so scared! :scared: :scared: :scared:

why would anyone get the power pass?

you may think you're saving money because it's a cheap pass but you wont

you're gonna have to pay for parking everytime and have blackout dates and wont get any discounts on any merch or food you want to buy

the preffered pass is less than 2 trips to the park seriously folks

For a family it makes sense for one member to have the full on Preferred Annual pass, and the rest have the power pass.

my reasons would be-

they are $80 less:lmao:

aaa gives you the same 10% discount on food and merch

always stay onsite so parking at parks is n/a

blackout dates are only at the busiest times of the year and would never go then anyway

as a fl resident the room discount is the same

a few years ago you used to get 20% off food/merch with the preferred pass and they would run specials of buy 1 year get 1 year free...since they stop doing that i really don't think the preferred pass is worth the money :confused3

Well said!

Too bad that I can't get them. They have to be bought and activated by the 18th. I won't be coming down there until the 30th of May. So even though I live in GA, I can't get them. Hopefully, they'll have something for GA residents at that time. If not, I'll just use my cousin to get tix. They're FL residents living in Orlando.

I have bought passes like this before and went a few months after the activation date and it was fine. Universal told me if i didn't make it by the redeem date it would activate automatically. So even though you go in may the pass will still expire next year on april 18 so you will lose a month but still save $25

Yep, that is what we have. One AP and the PP for everyone else....we don't live close so going to special events are not really an option.

We won't get theren until June 20th and verified prior to purchase that they will just activate on April 18th.... :thumbsup2 still less than buying 2 more AP passes for DD and DH :cool1:

We just bought our passes yesterday :goodvibes

We had the Preferred Annual Passes for about 5 years straight but then let them expire and have been passless for the last year or two because there were no good deals offered. Can't wait to return to Universal :woohoo::yay:

Thx for posting....I tried getting passes at AAA yest before deal expired and they were closed and when I went online to try to buy they needed a coke code.

I called and she asked me if I had coke UPC code and I said yes but she never asked me for the code and everything went good. I like saving $$ and now nephew has a new pass for our trip next month.

Was able to snag one for my daughter who is working at Disney for the next year....would not have known about the offer if I hadn't been checking out this board! Thanks a bunch! :)
