Enjoy the new camera, always fun taking pictures.

I am hoping to be at the Swan, 11/29-12/9, maybe I will see you out there clicking away.

As for the pictures, when I resize them for the board here, dimension and compression both, I will most often click on the auto exposure correct, seems to take out the haze prevelant in pictures, also seems to sharpen a bit without that haze.

Nice to see the folks here enjoy the pictures.

BTW - the picture outside of a resort with all of the poinsettias - which resort is that? BWI or somewhere else? I want to stay there and see that!

I am actually looking forward to staying at the Swan after seeing your beautiful photos Dan. We are only staying there as it is nr EPCOT on NYE and cheaper than Poly or BC. Great photos!

Thanks. The camera is a pretty old Nikon 995, no longer made. Just a point and shoot. There are many cameras today much better and less expensive than this one from 2001. I most often use a fence, top of a trashcan, the side of a tree or lamppost, or anything to steady the camera. I do have a little tripod I carry in my hipbag, but most often there is something handy to steady the camera. You really do need to if exposure is over 1/30, and many of these here are.

The poinsettias picture is at the juncture where the BWI and BWV meet, walking in from the promenade. It is sure pretty there at Christmas, pretty everywhere.
