just a few days left

The count down is ticking and I just cannot wait to jump into the van and head for Orlando and the Epcot Flower Show!!!
My fiance, three kids and penny our chocolate lab are staying at the Double tree Suites. Do any of you have any suggestions for good family resturants in the area?

Hi!! First of all, have a great time at WDW.

There are several restaurants in the area you will be in. When you make a right turn from your hotel the next street will be R535. Making a right turn there is a Perkins and several steak houses, like Langtry's, etc.
If you go straight there is a McDonald's, Taco Bell, Pizzeria Uno, & TGIF.
Making a left is Denny's, Shoney's, a Sizzler and probably lots of restaurants that I am forgetting. We never starve when we are at Disney!!LOL
Don't know how much you are into fastfood, but there is also a McDonald's at DownTown Disney--and lots of other really nice places to eat.

They say getting there is half the fun!! Well, fun at least. I always enjoy the drive down and the anticipation of getting to Disneyworld.

There is a Bahama Breeze right around there, too. It is a wonderful change of pace from steak houses!

Not much time left!! Just a couple of more days and you will be on your way!!
We are also staying at Doubletree Suites in May. Would love to hear your opinion of the hotel, as I've heard mixed reviews . We like a nice clean hotel-doesn't have to be the Ritz!!LOL
