Just A Facial

I just read here on the boards that you could get just a facial at the spa. Earlier I looked on the Disney cruise site at the list of spa treatments they offered and just a facial was not listed there. Does anyone know how much a facial would cost?

Michele, there will sometimes be specials offered in the Personal Navigator that differ from their "regular lineup", perhaps that is what was meant?

I've gotten some good specials on our cruises. One was a Personal Trainer/Metabolism check for I think $79, and I forget the other but I remember it was not usual.

I know for a fact that you are able to get just a facial if that's what you want. My grandmother did it on our last cruise. www.castawayclub.com has a link for spa description along with the prices. Barb has LT Oxygen lifting facial for $89. I'm not sure if that's the one you are looking for. If it isn't let me know and I can ask on my coming up cruise for you!

When we sailed on the Wonder last month, I wanted to treat my teen to the facial/manicure/pedicure package that they offer to that age group. It was one of the packages offered on the Magic.

When we took the spa tour on the Wonder, it wasn't on the list. I asked about it, and yes, they knew about it and did offer it. It cost $69.00.

It pays to know everything that they have, and not assume that your choices are confined to the information sheet that they give you. If I hadn't remembered the Magic package, my DD would have missed out.

The Ultimate face and body (facial plus massage) is 105 minutes of pure bliss!!!!!!

Ahhhhhh, the Absolute Face & Body!!!
Another decadent choice (available on the Wonder only) is Ladies Night, which is offered on Nassau night only. It is similar to the AF&B, but it also involves champagne and chocolates served to you in the Rainforest.

another vote for the Absolute Facial and Body!!!! I have had that one 3 times and just ventured into strange new territory on my last cruise and had the seaweed wrap. I've never been so relaxed in my life.......maybe it was the late night at the bar though....

I'm trying to decide between the Spa Taster on Castaway Cay and Ladies Night on our 11/30/03 Wonder Cruise. I had the Spa Taster (mini-facial and mini-massage) on Castaway on our last cruise so I'm leaning towards Ladies Night but I'm torn. Any opinions?

I don't remember the exact price, but I think it is comparable to the AF&B (around $144).
Bellewish, personally I would go with Ladies Night because I hate to waste any time on the island (also, I once had a massage when there was a loud, rowdy, intoxicated group in the chairs near the front of the cabanas...I spent the entire time listening to them tell stories about their clients (they were with an investment firm group). But that only happened once, so don't let it sway you if you are really leaning towards a treatment on the island.
