Well, the talking people are a lot quieter then the first video I watched (went to a new one, because there was an annoying guy right next to the camera that would exclaim "wow!" everytime fireworks appeared, and also because the sound was about by a second or 2, which bothered me)

Just checked. It's one of the largest ever made. Supposedly, the Yeti is the largest and most powerful. I don't think he's the largest, but he's certainly the most powerful, with his arm thrusting with similar force to a Boeing 747!

I'd rather them close the ride for the year than continue to see pitiful show conditions (and I love the ride).

He always works when you ride? Remind me to join you next time Although I still won't look! I'm a wuss. I just found a picture of the lava monster from JTTCOTE, and it scared me. It looked like a rock dragon, and fake, but it still scared me

I was there during the last month he was working (June '08) ugh... he was magnificent and it really miffs me that Disney is too cheap and scared to take a risk and actually fix it.

What they should do, is shut it down to fix, and then add a few more effects, so they can reopen it and advertise it all.

It'll probably just be the Yeti working, plus a new effect where...Uh... It feels like the track is being ripped off while you spin through the dark part just before you see the Yeti? Maybe fix the other effects like the waterfall, and fog?

Sounds good to me... I'd ike a little more to look at in that one ring (maybe near the station?) where it's just a few plants, etc. I could be remembering that wrong..

I don't remember anywhere with a ring of plants... Is this in the queue? I remember going through the queue around a mandir temple (original from Nepal :-D) with bells, then entering a shop (selling Ye-Tea ) with camping gear, and other stuff (like a picture of the royal couple of Anandapur) then heading through the museum with tons of interesting stuff, then exiting into a mini room with picture of people who will be our guides, then getting out onto the loading platform.

Oh, that part right after leaving. You turn round to face the mountain, then go up. It's a lot of foliage, with sounds of animals. It would be nice to actually have animals, but I don't think it would be practical.
