Just a Dream Away- The Imagineering Thread*Are you curious, imaginative, dedicated?

tht link has all of the concept art...there are no more then the ones there

There's actually several I haven't seen before...

You know.. I love Aurora, but I hate the idea of throwing her birthday. Especially because she never has one, really.

Actually, there is. There's a picture of Cinderella in the process of being transformed into her princess wear by the Fairy Godmother.

It says there are 20 pictures, but I counted 18...

That's what I was talking about earlier in the week about the 3 fairies. How will they do that?

Oh, there's also a picture from the Beauty & the Beast set with a guy handing out oversized cutlery to people. That confused me.

ill look into tht and ill give you guys the two tht werent shown....note: the pictures tht i shot were from the side

I don't like the style of the art for most of these, I'm not sure why... there are some that are really in depth and dream-like, and most are really cartoony.

That's not a major factor, just a comment...

I still wonder how they'll achieve the fairies. Are they mini AAs? (And the fairy in red looks more like Merryweather than Fauna in that picture, but I digress)

george, heres tht bird i was talking about:

It seems like all of these new attractions are elaborate, interactive shows rather than meet n greets (with the exception of TLM, an actual ride).

I assume they'll have times for each "show".

In BatB, you'll learn the story, and act as characters (including inanimate objects.

In Cinderella, you'll follow her story.

Aurora, you'll make her a birthday party.

I don't know, it feels like Fantasyland is going to be more interactive-storytelling, rather than ride-centric.

Dumbo is proof of that, you become part of the circus in line. (kids play in the big top)

Also.. this all seems kid-centric and to quote the master, "You're dead if you only aim for kids"

Tiny picture, but I can see what you mean. Could it be one of the original Tiki Birds? Did they ever change the Tiki Bird AAs? Is that C3PO? What's he doing there?

Seems like it. It seems like it could be cool, if done properly. I hope when the shows aren't up, you can still explore the areas. It would be disappointing if you can't.

I read that the Little Mermaid ride is going to be almost identical to the one in DCA, but with a different exterior building to fit into Fantasyland.

I don't think they'd let you explore the areas... Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for fresh and new, but my critical side is coming out now.

those are autonomotronics or something like tht.....they think for themselves

I thought that Lightning McQueen was the autonomatronic?

Think for themselves? One step closer to robots taking over the world!
