Okay so I often spend my time reading TRs. I never thought to write my own because its only a day trip for me and I go as often as I like. I thought that it would last forever but due to my upcoming move these day trips will mean more to me than ever. So please bare with me as I attempted to write my own.

The Reason: To celebrate my Aunt’s birthday and Spring Break for my sister and brother.

The Cast:
My aunt Gail and her husband Darius. They have been begging me since I started working at Disney to take them to the parks. Unfortunately our schedules never matched up. My uncle’s daughter Christina who will one day work at Disney I’m sure. My sister, Charesse and my brother, Bubba who is desperately trying to make me start calling him Eddie. He says he has outgrown the name “Bubba” but he will always be Bubba to me. My aunt Mary, my dad, My boyfriend, who is also a CM who has had too much Disney. He couldn’t be happier that we are moving so we don’t have to go to Disney all the time. Agreed to go with my family and I on his own free will and myself , A CM who can’t get enough of Disney. I always try to convince my boyfriend to go to the parks with me even though he doesn’t want to.

It took a little bit of planning but we all agreed to April 11, my aunt’s actual birthday and the last day of my brother and sister’s spring break. It was harder for everyone to agree which park to meet at but somehow we all came to the agreement to meet at Animal Kingdom at 9am. Much to my surprise everyone was early and this was the first time in history that I have ever been to a park right when it opened.

While we were waiting at the gates my aunt Mary and I were teasing my brother telling him he has to ride Expedition Everest to earn his name Eddie. We told my sister she had to ride too. They both looked terrified and we hadn’t even stepped foot in the park. However, they agreed. My brother would be riding partners with my boyfriend, my sister with me, and my aunt Mary and Christina would be together. Aunt Gail, Uncle Darius and my dad said they were going to sit it out.

As soon as the gates opened my aunt Mary went to get a scooter while the rest of us made bathroom stops. I wanted to wait to go to the bathroom just make a run for Mt. Everest but I was outvoted. What seemed like hours later we finally made it to Mt. Everest and the line was packed. We got fast passes, our time to come back was between 10:20 and 11:20. I explained to my family how it works and then went to ride Kali River Rapids. There was no wait. My sister chickened out so my dad waited with her. My brother’s face after the drop was priceless and he said he was wet in places he shouldn’t be. Since there was still no one in line we rode a 2nd time against my brother’s wishes. When we got off we all gave my sister a hug so she would be wet too. We still had some time to kill so we proceeded on to Dinosaur.

Along the way my dad wanted to watch Finding Nemo, the Musical and tried to convince everyone to watch instead of riding Dinosaur. He was outvoted. He stayed and my sister chickened out again and stayed with my dad. We had a 30 min wait for Dinosaur but it moved rather quickly. My brother screamed bloody murder the entire ride and did not raise his head once. After Dinosaur it was finally time for Expedition Everest.

As we made our way over to Everest, I tried calling my sister since she was supposed to be my riding partner. No answer, she has bailed out once again. We got in line and was at the front in no time. My aunt Mary was impressed with fast pass. My brother was trying to bail out. My boyfriend told him if he could handle Dinosaur, this would be no problem. My brother looked uncertain. It was finally our turn. We boarded and I wished my brother good luck. As always, it was over way too soon. My aunt thought the ride was “the bomb” and my boyfriend said my brother turned as white as a ghost. I told my brother that he has officially earned the name “Eddie”.

After meeting up with everyone who couldn’t handle Everest, we bragged how awesome it was. It was decided that we would go to Epcot next. Everyone but my dad, my boyfriend and I headed to the buses. My dad had to go to work and my boyfriend wanted to stop by our house and change shirts. (We only live like 10 min away) We told my family we would meet up with them at Epcot later. My boyfriend and I went home, he changed and I grabbed my sunglasses. Then we made our way to Epcot.

When we got there Christina and Aunt Mary were waiting to ride Test Track. My aunt and uncle were waiting outside with the two chickens. I called my aunt and told her to meet us inside by the cars. She snapped pictures while we were waiting for Mary and Christina to finish. My aunt claimed Test Track was the bomb. I asked her what happened to Everest being the bomb, she said yeah, that one is better and this one is just okay.

Next we decided to ride Mission Space. On the way we stopped for Turkey Legs. Christina got one first and my aunts and uncle ate off hers. My boyfriend and I decided to get one as well, then my aunts helped us eat ours too. After our Turkey legs we stopped at Club Cool where my brother and sister tricked my aunt Mary into drinking Beverly. My sister was in tears from my aunt’s reaction. We finished up in Club Cool and headed over to Mission Space. The wait was only about 20 mins for the green side, although my boyfriend and Christina wanted to ride the orange side. It was over in no time and my sister and brother said it wasn’t as bad as they thought it would be.

After Mission Space, my family wanted to check in at there hotel (off property). We made plans to meet up for dinner at a chinesse buffet. We said our good-byes.

That's the end of my first TR.

No better place to celebrate a birthday, I say! Sounds like a fun day, and Animal Kingdom is a great park.

Expedition Everest is a little intense for me. I have to ride it again to make my final decision, but the first and only time I rode, I thought it was much rougher than any of the other 'coasters' I'd been on in WDW, and I have done them all. I'll give it one more try, if I can talk anyone into doing it with me, and then I'll make the decision about if it's too much for me.

I'm glad you have your good guy, but sorry he's burned out on Disney. Maybe some time away will do him good, and then you can go back for visits often.

Do you have pictures of your day that you will share?

Keep us posted on these, your last days as a CM. It makes me sad. I wish you could still be there in June so that we could meet you at Pop!

I forgot to bring my camera with me, so i have to see if my Aunt Gail will email me some since she took some photos.

A quick rundown of today's events and hopefully i will be back to update in detail and add few pictures sometime soon. (dependin on how long it takes for me to get computer access and then however long it takes for me to figure the whole picture posting process out)

My friend Liz and I went to lunch at Rainforest Cafe. We both had the Awesome Appetizer. So good. Next we went to Hollywood Studios to see the Block Party Bash. (had what we thought were good seats, more about that later). After the bash we went to watch Little Mermaid. Then we boarded the boat to Boardwalk got some sweets I had a white chocolate peanut butter cup. Then we walked around (Boardwalk,Yacht and Beach) taking pictures. Then we boarded the boat back to Studios to get on the tram to go to Liz's car. We then went to All-Star Music and snapped a few pics. At las our day was done cause i wanted to get home to my boo.

:lmao: Although he doesnt think its funny. My boyfriend went through a lot on Apr 24 just so his little princess (thats what he called me at the end of the day) could get a dole whip. Any other guy would have drawn a line but not my guy. ;)

Okay our day started at CiCi's Pizza. We wanted to eat before we got to the park cause everyone knows that disney food is mega expensive and right now we shouldnt be spending too much extra money. While we ate we decided we would go to Hollywood Studios so my boyfriend could watch the Block Party Bash (he likes his Pixar charcters) We filled up on pizza (Since this might also be the last time we eat at CiCi's.) and made our way to the Studios.

We parked the car and boarded the tram. I went thru the bag check in a timely manner. It was a little too early to sit and wait for the Bash to begin so we grabbed a times guide to see what shows were playing. Lights Motors Action was playing at 1:20 it was 1:18. He had never seen the show before and really wanted to see it. He said i dont think we can make it. I said no im sure we can, i grabbed his hand and started dodging other guests left and right. We got there and he heard tire skids and he said oh no it started, we cant get in. I saw that they were still letting other guests in and i told him don't worry they are just warming up (of course a little fib on my part but he could get over it) We got seated at the top of the bleachers and watched the show. He enjoyed the show. :thumbsup2

After LMA, he wanted to go see Indiana Jones9 he hadnt seen this yet either). Sadly we didnt have the same luck as we did before. So we browsed thru a few stores and then sat Hollywood Blvd in the middle, on the left side and waited paitently. My boyfriend started to grow impaitent with waiting and finally the Bash started. i was anxious to see if i picked my "good seats" turns out i sort of did. I was close to Boo and all the other monsters. I snapped some good pictures (which i will upload after i move and have computer access) Got pushed and shoved  and watched the rest of the show.

Then we headed to Indiana Jones again to watch the next show 4:00. The current time was about 3:28. My boyfriend was iffy  about waitin so long for the show, i told him if we go in and wait now we would get good seats and its covered so the sun wont be beamin on you. He gave in and we waited for the show.

While we were waiting, he told me he just wanted to go home when we were done here. :sad1: I wanted to go to MK and get a Dole Whip. We had a "nothing fight" i almost ended up in tears and said fine we dont have to go to MK. I really dont want a Dole Whip that much. Well the good boyfriend that he is knew that i was lying and said we could go but i "owed" him. I said i'll do anything for my dole whip. :worship:

Indiana Jones started. He thought the show was ok, he liked LMA better and decided he would never do Indiana Jones again. We left the park in our car and headed to MK.

We contemplated over parking at TTC or Contempary. Deciding for the latter, we parked boarded the monorail (i wanted to record Por Favor on my phone so when i "homesick" i'll have it at my fingertips.) We made a beeline for Adventureland and i pointed at Aloha Isle. My boyfriend looked at the line of guests waiting:eek: . I said see im not the only one who wants a Dole Whip:rolleyes: . I waited my turn in line and finally it was my turn. I decided on the Pineapple Float. I was so happy i finally got to taste the Dole Whip. :cloud9: My boyfriend said was all that worth it? I said yes. He asked me what i wanted to do next? I told him it didnt matter. We decided on watching Philarmagic then we would leave. Before exiting the park we stopped by Main Street Bakery, i got a white choc peanut butter cup (cant get enough of those) and my boyfriend got a rice krispee treat.

And that was the end of our last day at the parks for a very long time.
