Is the one in California the same as the one in Florida? How was it ?Did you like it? Is it for kids and is it better than Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom? Is it better for kids?

I've never been out to Universal in Hollywood, but have heard the two JP rides are similar for the most part. The highlights of each version match one another.

The only difference between Dinosaur at AK and JP is that they both revolve around Dino's. One is an indoor dark ride, while the other is a flume/wet ride. Hard to compare. Ak's is probably more frightening for smaller children. Both have great detail.

Dinosaur in AK is a totally different ride from Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure.I probably prefer Dinosaur as it's a lot more exciting throughout the ride.JP is a calm ride then you go up into the building for the big drop which isn't bad at all.Dinosaur would be scarier for young kids especially since the audio is very loud.

I definitely prefer JP for many reasons.

First, the storyline is much more familiar and "reasonable" due to that, the storyline of Dinosaur is kinda iffy at best and quickly portrayed. I'm not a big fan of Dinosaur either because it's startlingly loud and rough, but for me it doesn't translate to fun. You're thrown into the action from the first minute and don't get a chance to rest until the end...that's basically what makes it the most scary ride at WDW (IMO)

JP has a slow build up of drama as you see things that start to happen and like a good storyline, builds up over time into more and more intense scenes until the major scary ending.
