Jurassic Park 1996

I went to Universal for the first time in Dec of 1996. I could swear there was a Jurassic Park sign+dinosaur around where the old Boneyard was-anyone else remember this?

I remember the Boneyard but not any specifics. The reason I know the Boneyard is from HHN and concerts in the past few years until it was redone.

If I recall the T-rex and Explorer was displayed in front of the Horror Show building. Inside they had props from the JP film back then.

yes I remember that there too for a while - the jeep was also parked nearby to where Twister is now for a bit too, along with a T-REX for photo ops

I dont remember the specific year off hand, but there was a T rex,with a Jeep or Explorer (dont remember which off hand,may have been just the rex.The rex, I know was there)outside the boneyard, in the corner where the permanent gift shop is now.(Standing in the middle of the intersection,facing Twister,it would be the front left corner.) It was complete with sound effects, as one of the JP movies had just come out I think.It was also a photo op, and also there was merchandise from the movie on sale there.Since then or even before then, some of the vehicles such as the Jeep, and also one of the armored vehicles or 2 have popped up from time to time in USF in different places,such as the street where Shrek exits.Saw the jeep and some other props when they set up for last year HHN.

Sadly the Boneyard, where many a prop was on display is no more.I remember seeing props from the Flinstones, one of the mock up sharks from the Jaws attraction and even some of the Macys balloons from the parade that are now scattered thru the park was there.
