Howdy all, we're just 3 weeks out from our Feb 3 cruise on the Dream. I think our party (my DW and kids, and siblings and families) would like to disembark in Nassau and hit Junkanoo Beach for a couple of hours either in the morning or afternoon... taking advantage of eating meals on the cruise ship (so either going to the beach before or after eating lunch on the ship).
Everyone would like to experience a beach in Nassau, along with Castaway Cay... but not spend the $$ on an expensive excursion - so it truly would be a brief visit.
That being said, we'd like to try and enjoy staying on the ship at the most opportune time for the pools and Aquaduck... and wondered if any of you would have advice on when that would be - stay on the ship in the morning, and depart for a couple of hours in the afternoon, or vice versa?
