Ok I am determined to throw out stuff today! In this computer room became storage, what to do with room! This means desk papers, bins, clothes, just freakin STUFF!!! I want to rebel since it is a big job, but darn it I am gonna do it. Anyone want anything in this room- take it! :thumbsup2

Who else has junk to throw out- I got plenty of those BIG GREEN BAGS! :lmao:

I'm taking a 15 minute break from packing. We're moving in 13 days. Our computer rooms could be twins. I have a handle on everything else but this room is a nightmare. I've already carted 2 bags out of here. Maybe I should mix up a pitcher of something to make the job easier :teeth: . Good luck!!

I will join you tomorrow, today we need to go furniture shopping.

Lets check back in with how many bags we filled. It might motivate me.

Since you are at it today Miss Missy and CEDmom I will cheer you on :)

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

and one of these

Free your self from clutter, then come on over and help me ;)

Can I join this party? I should be tossing as I type. I thing you have motivated me!

Just piled 1 bin of old book to get rid of, 1 bin of childrens vcr movies, what to do with these? 1 trash bag going...

Yes come join, lets see how well we can do with this! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I HATE JUNK!!!!!!!!!!

You girls have fun. I'm not lifting a finger today! :teeth:

Last weekend we had a "Get rid of 100 pieces of stuff" clean-out. We were quite successful. :thumbsup2 Now there's nothing left. :teeth:

I have a shed like that! It is piled to the ceiling because we have no where to store stuff. It started out with just Christmas decorations but has turned into camping, yard, pool and anything else that can be shoved in there. DD went out to get a cooler out of it the other day and said it was like taking her life into her own hands!! Everything came tumbling down on her. Maybe when its not 100 degrees out there I will go clean it and throw stuff away. NOT TODAY THOUGH.

Hey U lazy thing you :rotfl2: now I got the crawl space open and its HOT in there! Gotta switch summer/winter clothes... boy I don't wanna be an adult today! :guilty:

I cleaned out my sons' room while they were at school about 2 weeks ago. I got tired of the, "I wanna save that even it's broken" whine!
Three huge bags of trash gone.

Cleaning a bit today, only regular trash right now, already de-cluttered the downstairs about 6 months ago.

Everyone have fun getting rid of junk!
Lisa

down the home stretch and pooped! Ok Ok I can do this!

Done!  :cool1: :cool1:

I only had one bag of rubbish, but 1 of clothes and 2 bins to giveaway and 2 bins for storage.

Now the treat is meeting Dad for supper!

I'm with Lisa. Last week, I cleaned three garbage bags of old toys and clothes out of the kids' rooms while DS was at school. It's better, but I need to do more in both rooms still. Maybe this next week.

I just did this in the garage :)

We now have a huge pile ready to go for our yard sale and a bunch sitting out for the trash and figured out what little was actually going into the house.

Moving is the great de-clutterer lol

I'm always amazed on how much junk I've collected. We donated one whole room full of furniture, boxes of books, bags of clothes last year when we were clearing out to make up a nursery. This year, we've put our house on the market and have purged like crazy. DH's cave (the bonus room upstairs) took 5 weekends to clear out. I refused to go up there. He hauled out 3 trashbins full every weekend! The last week before we put our house up, he had 12 computers, 3 monitors, 2 printers, 2 old xboxes and other various stuff out on the street. Most was gone before the trash came for pickup. Glad someone else is enjoying my junk. :rotfl:
It feels wonderful to have all that crap outta my house! :goodvibes

I'm ready. I don't know how two people (one being DD9) collect so much stuff. I am just tired of some of the clutter around, and threatened myself tonight to drink a pot of coffee and stay up all night to clean!

My house has no basement and an attic that I have never been in and never will go it - so it's either in the garage along with my car or in the house. I moved 9 storage boxes of DDs stuffed animals here 3 years ago, and some have not been played with since. I am going to be cold hearted and dispose of them since no one wants used stuffed animals. Don't get me started on all the McDs toys!!!

DD is out of school, and I find it very difficult to keep the houe picked up. During the school year, I can keep somethings under control as I work at home, and am pretty good a multi tasking, but now there is NO break from her, and when there is - I want to "chill" and not clean - so nightime is when I can clean the best!

Well I was going to do this tomorrow but then I found out that our local Goodwills are having half price on all clothes tomorrow so I am going SHOPPING and will end up coming home with more junk!

Is there a 12 step program that I can sign up for? :teeth:

PLEASE don't tell me any of you are selling all of your junk on ebay. I get the guilts from my Dsis when I purge a room and give it all to good will or the likes. She says "at least keep it for a garage sale!" I know I could make a few hundred, but COME ON! I don't need more guilt from yet another source! ;)

Sometimes you just need to pack it up and send it away.....am I right?

I've been getting rid of tons of stuff using freecycle.org. I signed up for our local chapter and have been able to de-clutter three closets so far. Even when I think "nobody could ever want this", I end up getting somebody to take it. I love, love, love to freecycle!

Thanks for that tip. I just went to the website and found a chapter that is in my neighborhood area! I will be signing up!
