Junior High Grad Days & Grad Nights?

I have been reading some horror stories about something called Junior High Grad Days which are held at Disneyland in May, does anyone know if this still happens as I am going May 11th - 14th? also do Grads young and old cause much disruption around the parks during public hours?

Don't know about the grad days (when I was in Junior High, we when to Knott's), but regular grad nights are only an issue because the park closes earlier (and they might make DTD crowded). The high schoolers don't get into the park until after hours.
