Is it possible to walk to the start of the 5k at Animal Kingdom if we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge? We are planning on running this in 2014. Just starting to think about hotels!

I really don't think so -- that road does NOT strike me as walkable. But "cabable" sure

Thanks! I was kind of thinking that it might be hard to walk since no one has mentioned doing that. Or at least I haven't seen anyone mention it.

I would not walk it as the traffic will be terrible at that time with the busses and cast members arriving for the race.
