Is it true that the Jungle Cruise doesn't open until 10? If so, is it possible to get a fast pass for this right away.

Bumping you back to page one for an answer to your question.

Jungle Cruise is not part of EE, maybe that is what you were thinking? I'm not sure about it opening at 10, though?

I dug up the times guide for MK that I brought back from my trip for the week of May 25-31, 2003. On the back it lists special hours and Jungle Cruise is listed as open 10:00 am to Park closing.
Don't know if those hours are the normal hours or just for that week!?

I read somewhere an attraction must be open for, I dunno, a certain amount of time, before FastPasses are issued. Is it possible to get a FP for JC even before a line forms? My guess is no, because the purpose of a FP is to wait in a virtual line while your actual bodies are elsewhere. Just my opinion and if I'm wrong about this, please let us all know; it won't be the first time! ;)

I don't understand the late openning. No matter what time of year I've been, no matter how puny the crowds are elsewhere, there is ALWAYS a big line for JC. If it's so popular, why the delayed start? Just wondering.

I can't remeber who told me but I heard that it opens later because in the early morning there's a lot of mist over the Jungle Cruise, you can actually see it from the Polynesian beach, there's just a cloud hovering over that area. It can be so thick that guests wouldn't be able to really see anything, so they open it later as the mist is pretty well settled by then. I'm pretty sure this is the reason for the later opening.
