Jungle Cruise with FP

On our first trip to MK last year we had a more than 30 min wait for Jungle Cruise with a FP. I wonder if that’s the norm or an anomaly? I’m trying to figure out how much time we should allot for the ride in our touring plan for an upcoming trip. (We have a FP again.)

Probably was an anomaly. We waited less than 15 minutes with our FP over Christmas break. We did however have our own long fastpass lines-buzz and space stick out. Sometimes delays happen.

I imagine it can fluctuate, if you get unlucky and a ton of people with the same FP window as you're arrival time all arrived right before you it would extend the wait time, if you're lucky then you are the ones who got in line before that same "crowd" and will have a shorter wait. But I'm thinking that 30 minutes for a FP is outside the norm for any attraction.

IME that's an anomaly. The last two times I had a FP for Jungle Cruise the wait was less than 10 minutes each time.

Our FP wait is usually about 10 min at Jungle Cruise.

I don't think we've waited more than 15 minutes fo FP for Jungle Cruise.
I enjoy the ride, but would never wait 60 minutes in that queue to ride it.

We were there in early december and one evening, monday night, the fast pass line went all the way to the magic carpets, we waited probably half hour, wound through bunch of switch backs. Still much quicker than regular line. We noticed the main problem was all of the "handicap people" slowing down the load and unload process even though the majority of them were going back from standing easily in the fast pass line, to their carts after seeing the long fast pass line and saying they couldn't transfer to the boat, had to be loaded on.

Only time I've personally had longer waits was when I was actually on the ride.

We've had it a few times where there was a backlog of boats that just keep getting stacked up. I don't remember all of the instances but I know one was a new Skipper learning on to properly dock the boat. That took over 15mins with multiple boats having to go forwards then reverse it when the Skipper kept missing. Then you had the boats docking, unloading and going off again so that adds time. I don't know that many people were waiting to get on the ride but that is something that could back it up creating a longer wait.

Sometimes there will be an unusually long FP line if there was a problem earlier in the day and lots of people got recovery FP. We once skipped Buzz because the FP line went on forever. Read later that night that the ride had been down earlier in the day. We also waited 30 minutes for a Tinkerbell FP because the CMs seemed to have completely forgotten that we existed.

Last time I rode - we had to wait over 20 minutes to unload - so I can see where loading would be greatly impacted - I figure it’s due to loading or unloading someone who needs assistance due to disabilities...no biggie but it can get pretty boring waiting around by corner by Headhunter Sam while the poor skipper tries to keep everyone entertained

I would definitely leave 30 minutes for this ride even with a FP. The last few times we went the FP line extended so far back and it took a good 15-20 just to get on the ride. That was with the regular line being 80 minutes so I can’t complain! Then the ride itself is another 10 minutes or so.

I think Jungle Cruise is a VERY popular choice for folks if another ride is down - and the folks with FP's for the ride that is down often opt to head to Jungle Cruise when they get their "multiexperience" FP. That causes the FP line to get VERY long.
