Saw that last night. Those FW days will be more crowded at DHS, just like back when Fantasmic was not nightly would be more crowded. I really think Disney needs to release these events and timing prior to 60 days.

Touring Plans is currently allowing RoL to be added as an attraction based on when they think it might begin. Nothing has officially been announced yet.

So something is afoot, the AK hours for 10/12 have moved from 7 pm to 8:30 close. Still can't get a fast pass that ends before 7pm yet though, and no ROL showing yet.

I was able to get a later FP tonight for 10/13 for the Safari. They had ones available through 8:30 so those looking for later ones go check it out.

Does anyone know what time they have been starting the tree lighting? I know it will depend on time of dusk, but just wondering when they're doing it now. Going down 3rd week of October. I have a Safari FP scheduled for 6 - 7 PM, but also Tiffins for 6:40 PM which I may change. It's so hard to know what to do with evening FP and ADRs for now.

Completely agree. We're going second week of October, and with an 8:30 close the latest dinner I can get is 7:45, which will cut unto the limited dark window too much I think. May go for an early dinner this time.

we were there in August and Rivers of Light was TERRIBLE!! I will say Tiffins was great and upscale dining for a change. The show made no sense dancing was all over the place with no continuity. They really need to get their ducks in a row because it is BAD.

That wasn't Rivers of Light, that was the Jungle Book: Alive With Magic. The summer placeholder when ROL was delayed.

Yes you are right, so sorry! it was the Alive with Magic with the Jungle Book stuff. Forgot there were other names also. Never the less, it WAS really bad. The lights from the far side glared into our faces, the 3 places of dancers was just nuts with no continuity at all, I was there mid August so if it had some other name that is when i saw it. four stars for Tiffins, 1 star (if that) for the water show. I do wish there were access to the restaurant from the outside of the park and not have to use a ticket to get in to use the restaurant. Oh well, most of the others are too.

heck 60 days would be a luxury at this point as that would allow FP+ changes to hard to get FPs. for some people it is less than 30 days!

lots of rumors about ROL perhaps opening soon. My dilemma, made FP+ this week and have FP+ for Kali around 12:30, KS around 3:45PM and EE at 5PM (AK scheduled to close at 6PM right now), kids want to ride EE in the dark. If ROL opens for our week (Nov 12-19) do I ditch one FP+ and try to get one for ROL, but which FP+ to change?

also have a 10:30AM ADR for TH and would love to get a ROL dining package if offered but don't want to risk losing the breakfast ADR if I try for a dining packing and can't snag one.

In warm weather, the line for Kali is the longest. While it may start to get cool in November, you won't know what type of weather you'll have, and 12:30 is prime time for it, so i would keep that one. KS has less capacity and in low time periods, they don't run all the vehicles and 3:45 is also prime time for lines. EE has very large capacity, so that line moves fairly quickly, and, at least while Jungle Book was going on, the lines for EE in the evening were very short. I would drop EE if you don't get a dining package.

I would pick Kali, simply because it was a let down for us and I don't think I need to do it again.

You should be able to keep your ADR until you confirm something else for the same timeframe... so you should be OK.
