"Jungle Book:Alive With Magic" Survey

So, they've gotten wind of the negative feedback I'd say? I mean, doesn't seem like they'd normally put the effort into a survey like that for what is supposed to be a short, temporary exhibit. Or perhaps it's not going to be as short-term as everyone wants it to be. :(

Or, since much of the technology is similar to what ROL will include, they are looking for suggestions before they premiere ROL so that it is streamlined to begin with.

Don't you think that if they're going through the trouble of doing a survey (and apparently an in-depth one at that), that they're plan is to probably have Jungle Book a lot longer than the "temporary" show they first put out there. Honestly, once I saw that they were accepting dining packages through Sept., I really felt that they're really looking at this as more of a long-term "temporary" show (remember how MSEP was only supposed to last that first summer). I really think that RoL is going to be a much much longer wait than what we thought and were originally lead to believe. When they first announced the "delay" didn't they first make it sound like it'd be more like June when it'd be shown? And now its seems that JB is happening through at least Sept. I think Jungle Book is going to be around for a while.

No, not at all. I think they are looking to see what the perceived issues were for Jungle Book in anticipation of opening ROL. Traffic flow, seating in the theatre, the hot cement seats, water screen working effectively, etc, are all things that will impact ROL as well. Disney knows this, and I think it is entirely possible that they are looking to make these fixes to improve ROL right from the beginning.

Agree.
- The "glitch" they described on RoL is not rocket science and they have some of the best working on it ..... a sign of a much bigger issue.
- A water wall is not functioning fully, something they have done over and over elsewhere. How are the bigger issues designed if this is off?
- A high level Imagineer says there are other shows in the pipe to come after Jungle Book if need be. o_O
- Billboards showing up advertising Alive with Magic, a new tag used for this new show .... why spend money on temporary?
- Apparent commit to this show via the dining packages as you note throughout the summer.
- Why bother with a survey on a temporary show? I agree on this one. The only reason to survey is to improve, why bother if temporary?

It's not. The only thing they appear to be using is the water wall, and it's not meeting in the middle. Now maybe there is no plan to meet in the middle for ROL - if so why did they design this show as if it does?? I haven't seen anything else in the videos I watched.

The barges with the structures are brand new for show and the barges that move with people are old Fantasmics they brought from California. The theater of course is the same, but that is not technology .... but sounds like it needs some thought as to load/unload.

I just got another survey. I guess from using FP+ on Monday, even though the show ended up cancelled. It's odd because there is no N/A choice. For example, it said did I use my FP+ for JB. I did use the FP+, but the show got cancelled right before it started. It wouldn't let me skip questions where no answer fit. I was able to answer the questions about the other night time entertainment though.

I don't disagree with your points but in no way shape or form is just trying to work the kinks out before RoL. These items could be addressed as the actual show goes along. RoL seems to have some serious issues if they've got JB scheduled for months.
