Jungle adventures vs Gatorland

Has anyone visited these? We will be visiting in Dec. if that matters.. and both have entertainment book coupons..trying to decide which one would be better?

Ironically enough, we visited both on our last trip (11/02). Probably the biggest consideration for you might be distance from your hotel. Gatorland is much closer to WDW than Jungle Adventures.

Would you be going specifically for the alligators? If so, then Gatorland would probably be fine for you (they also have a pretty neat walk through a swamp).

If you want to see more animals then Jungle Adventure might be a better bet. They have bears, panthers, raccoons, etc.

Okay we have had to visit Gatorland each year for the past 5 years, my son is 15 and he still shows no signs of slowing down!! He loves it. Here is a little hint. You can feed the gators hot dogs purchased there but do not feed them on the docks go to the swamps instead they are much hungrier there since eveyone uses all the hot dogs on the dock area. It is only a 1/2 day attraction but it is interesting. Do not expect much in the way of modern it is more old Florida.

Gatorland was a HOOT! My guys loved it! We came home with the pictures of the guys holding the snake and alligator, and sitting on the big gator. Everything cost extra. I would never bother with the train again. We had to stand in line and it just went around a circle. The souvenir cups have discounted refills. We loved it! If the weather is warm, take swimming stuff for the interactive fountain.
