We will be arriving June27 and staying until July3. There will be 2 adults and a 16 yr old and 12 yr old with us. Is there any suggestions on what to do that may be special and exciting to them .I know that they are excited about just going but need some advice on what they may like to do as well I know they are not interested in a character meal or anything like that so i am having a hard time planning .Thanks for any suggestions

well as far as RIDES and PARKS go...

MK: hit the mountains, space, splash, and thunder;

EPCOT: test track, mission space, soaring;

AK: kali river rapids, dinosaur

MGM: rock n rollercoaster, tower of terror,

maybe try a waterpark like Typhoon lagoon, or blizzard beach

for RESTAURANTS that are good fun but not "characters"

WHISPERING CANYON CAFE - in wilderness lodge - they do several playful antics like if you ask for a refill, i have seen it where they will either bring you an enormous glass or a teeny tiny shot glass type of refill with a huge straw in it. amongst other things....

50'S PRIME TIME CAFE - in mgm - they also do playful antics... like make you keep your elbows off of the table, if you make a mess or spill something, they put a little mermaid big on you, etc. things that mothers make do with their little children as they are learning table manners...

SCI-FI DINE IN THEATER - in mgm - the food here is your average hamburger, sandwich place. but the themeing is pretty cool. it is set up like a drive in theater. you eat inside of cars with a little table in front of you. there is a huge projection screen that plays clips of classic sci fi movies. the waters and waitresses are sometimes on roller skates to give you that told "drive in theater" feel.

SOME BUFFET/ALL YOU CAN EAT PLACES (great for big eating teenagers :teeth: )

HOOP DE DOO - in ft wilderness lodge - a dinner show that is funny with all you can eat meals and alcohol

SPIRIT OF ALOHA LUAU - in polynesian - also a dinner show, with all you can eat meals and alcohol

BOMA - in Animal kingdom lodge - not character or anything, but nice buffet and different-but-great tasting foods

OHANAS - in the polynesian - this is GREAT. I go with my brothers (who are huge eaters) and their families. it is an all you can eat, family style dinner. with fire grilled steak, turkey, shrimp, and pork. if you time it right, you can watch the fireworks from mk inside. they turn down the lights and play the music in there. or go outside after your dinner and watch the fireworks from the beach. it is very cool.

good luck!

Hey, we will be there those dates also! My kids are younger...9, 8, 4, and 6 months, so they are into different things. However, might I be so bold as to perhaps suggest Disney Quest...especially if you have boys.
