I know this has been asked a million times but we are going to be at WDW in June for the 1st time ever. We like early May but can't swing it this time. How bad is it REALLY going to be? We will be there June 1-16.

Thanks, sorry to ask a question that I am sure has been asked and answered many times.

The weather will be a little hotter and wetter, and the crowds will be larger. Your first week will be quieter than your second.

We used to travel in May all of the time and when DS got too old to pull out of school we switched to June. It's not that bad, but the difference is noticable. Don't worry, you'll still have a great time. :)

We were there last June (7-13), and had a blast. Funny enough, it was cooler in Florida than it was at home! We're going back this June (8-17), and I'm sure we'll have a great time.

We made sure to take lots of AC/Water breaks - I purchased a cheapo watch that had an hourly chime, and we would basically take breaks (if possible), whenever we heard it.

Not once did we go back to our rooms (although we had planned to), it just never worked out.

As far as crowds, the second week you are there will be busier than when you first arrive, but you'll still have a great time.

Just make sure to take breaks when needed, stay hydrated, don't go commando, and have fun!

We went last year the 10 - 20 th of June. The heat we could deal with easy enough but I will strongly recommend taking your poncho with EVERY DAY, no matter what the weather looks like in the morning. We ended up buying several ponchos because the weather changed during the day while at the parks...lol. We will be better prepared this year, taking it with every time! We'll be there June 10 - 23 this year and loving every minute of it.:goodvibes BTW still loooking for others that might be staying at the all stars and would like to do a fridge swap. We'll be at the music but could work with any of the all stars I imagine. I don't care how many are in it either.

Thanks for all the replies. We are taking my parents this time and I really want to be prepared and not too overwhelmed. We have been to wdw several times but always during semi slow times. Now that my kids are in school it is hard to go during the off season. We'll just take it slow and take plenty of beaks.
