June Visits?

I have been to disney many, many times but it has been a few years since I went in June and we usually take our long trip in Aug., but b/c of our schedules we must go the second week of June. how is this time as far as crowds go? I live in Florida so I know all about the heat, humidity, rain, and thunderstorms. How does the crowds in June compare to the crowds in early Aug.?

We went in the middle of June last year. We chose to do parks that were not EMH. We did a park that was EMH the day before. The park crowds were moderate. I don't remember standing in line more than 20 min. or so for most rides. However, we saved the big rides at MK for E-night. I hope they still have E-nights this year but I am afraid with new evening EMH that they are gone.

Yes they are gone, no more E-night. I will mourn the loss of the dearly departed E-night. I have resigned myself to purchasing the hopper option on our tickets and will do parks that were EMH the day before, take a 3 ½ hour afternoon break back at the hotel then head back to the EMH park at around 6:00 for dinner and to stay until the bitter end be it 1:00 a.m or 3:00 a.m. Only doing that for MK and EPCOT. Stuck going to AK on the EMH (early) day because I had to switch our MGM day due to the Star Wars crowd on the last Saturday of the event. Since we really dislike AK no big deal, we’re going to get in and get out, visiting the few attractions that we think my husband, who has never been, may like.

Went last June (6/18 -7/2/2004) for the first time (have gone in August every year since 2000). My "impressions" relative to crowds:

3rd week June = 3rd week of August
4th week of June = 1st & 2nd week of August

-- Can't speak for a reality supported by math or science (I.e., real numbers)
-- Can't speak for the first two week of June (although we will be going week #2 and week #3 in 2006, so I will be interested in your feedback)
-- It is possible that the conisderably better weather skewed my perceptions / tolerance of crowds.
