Do we have to be concerned about bugs in mid-June?

We have been to WDW four times in June and can honestly say we never had any problems with any kind of bugs.

You never really have to be concerned about bugs all year in Disney. The only thing was last year in June I got a couple mosquito bites walking by water.

I completely disagree! I always get bit by mosquitos. Bring Bug spray! I always see nasty other bugs too like cockroaches (nasty!). I live in Florida, and I am still not used to all the bugs.

My family has had some bad bug bites during some summer visits - feet and lower legs typically. We even visited the first aid station to get benadryl ointment because the bites had become so swollen and itchy.

Me and DD usually get a couple of mosquito bites. DD is more allergic than I am to them so sometimes hers will swell more so I always carry the liquid benadryl, small bottle, in my backpack.

We have less issues with bugs at Disney than we do at home. Sure, an occasional mosquito bite, but nothing to really worry about.
