Ok, we will be there June 7th to 16th. Flight for husband, 16 year old daughter and myself from Cleveland to Orlando taken care of. Bought a 5 day PH for my husband because he has health issues wich may stop him from going to the parks all of the five days. Calculated between Magic with no expiration and hopper and PH, the PH one. Tryin for an AP discount at Coronado or one of the other moderates and daughter and I have one day with 4 plus features left on old tickets so I have not purchased our tickets yet. If I get an AP or a general public room only discount I will then purchase our tickets based on the best discount I get. Since we will only hop one day and have the one day left over I will get my daughter a 4 day base Magic. Probalby will pruchas some meal vouchers and will use a limo service to transfer. What are your June plans? Any tips/discount information appreciated. :thewave:

Well, not sure I have any tips. But, dd, 11 and I are going down from 6/18-26. We do have APs and are hoping to grab our first night at AKL with a nice discounted rate and we are already booked at AllStarMusic for the last two nights...now hoping we can get a good rate there too!! BCV the middle time. I've never been in June. I'm sure it's going to be hot/humid but not as bad as August!!! I'm looking forward to doing Project X. Here's hoping that all works out!!! Otherwise, we will have a pretty relaxed time. Maybe a few PS's but not too many. We'll just graze. Some mini-golf, pool time at SAB...just plain ole making memories time.

Of course, this is all a big surprise for dd. I'll probably tell her the week before!!! Now, if I can just keep my big mouth shut!

I'm considering taking my boys the first week of June. I haven't been at that time of year since I was a kid. I don't much care for the heat and humidity, but they'll be missing a week of school next year for our cruise, and they missed over a week last year for our DW trip, so I don't want to take them out this year too.

I'm also hoping for an AP discount, and since it will be a "budget" trip sandwiched between a couple of other "bigger" trips, we'll probably be staying at one of the Values. I'll probably get the boys the 10 day Plus ticket with the no expiration feature, that way they can go to Disney Quest, and then use the leftover days on the next trip.

They don't really have a terribly long "must do" list, so it should be an "easy" trip, at least that's what I'm hoping. I think a few hours at each park in the morning, and then a few more in the evening should be enough. We'd also like to visit both water parks, and Disney Quest.

We'll be staying at a Ft Wilderness Cabin June 6-11th. We still haven't figured out what type of passes to purchase. We're planning on going to the HoopDeeDoo Review, and dinner at Teppanyaki (DD7 loves using chopsticks!). Can't wait for our June vacation!!!!!!!!!!

Me, dh and ds(8) will be @VB 6-14 thru 6-16 and then on to VWL till 6-24! We also are looking forward to Project X!!!!

Our calendars are highlighted for June1-8th!!! We haven't made official ressies yet, but are planning to stay on-site for the first time...hoping for POFQ or POR. I got this pin through a disney e-mail yesterday and I was told I could use it anytime but the longer I wait the greater the possibility that there won't be anymore rooms avail with the code. Well, can't do it now with Christmas and all, but I'm gonna try to use it in January...we'll see! I am very excited...more so tonight after I hung my Disney ornaments from my last trip two years ago on our tree!! :Pinkbounc

Please ignore my ignorance but what is Project X?

dizagain, I have not made my reservations yet either. Boy, so many people get stuff from Disney for discounts, I never have. Do you know what you did that generated the "pin"? What type of deal are you offered?

Hi Kutchyone

This is the thread that explains the story behind 'Project X'. Unfortunately it looks like you'll be leaving just before the events begin though :(

Basically we are planning on using our large numbers on this board to take advantage of booking some special events through Group Sales which is usually the domain of large corporations or perhaps a super cool wedding.

The first one is our private party Adventurers Club - the idea for that is to be able to offer a taste of what's on offer at the 'normal' AC, but in a more controlled environment so great for families who might otherwise not want to venture to Pleasure Island with their kids.

The second one is our Illuminations Dessert Party - which is basically renting out an area by the World Showcase, offering some tasty desserts plus a neat viewing spot of the fireworks without having to find a spot perhaps an hour in advance at an otherwise busy time of year.

Hope that helps :)

We will check in to VWL on May 30th until June 8th. Then check into Vero for the 8th, 9th and 10th.

I will be there June 12th through 18th with my DW, and 3 DD's. We booked airfare from Chicago a few days ago (haven't told the DW how early the flight to MCO is or how late the flight home is :smooth: ). We currently have reservations at the Poly. I have both a lagoon view and a garden view concierge booked right now. I just can't decide which would be better for us.

Like most I am waiting to see what discounts become available. Will buy an AP if necessary or hope for general discounts. If there are no discounts we will probably opt for the new MYW dining package.

Count us in too! Arriving on June 4 - June 12. Haven't decided where to stay yet. Might even consider off-site this trip,as we are offering to take my parents and my neice. We'll see who really wants to go after Christmas. I wonder what discounts will be offered in the new packages. That will make a difference where we stay. It won't matter though as it is always fun to be there! pirate: princess: :cheer2:

Now I remember. I was one of the first to respond to that thread and sent along my regrets. Thanks.

Sure wish I would get one of those! :smooth: DH or the kids would just get one less Christmas present, LOL. :earboy2:

We'll be there June 6-11!! Can't wait. Staying at CBR for the frist time.

Son will be graduating from high school in May. So to celebrate we will be there June 9th thru the 21st. Hope they come up with some good rates before then. Have a Disney Day!

DH, 2 DD, and me will be there from June 4-18. We'll be staying at POR the first 6 days, then a pool home the last 8.
We have PAPs at Disney and Power Passes at Universal so we plan to do it all!
Can't wait!

Hi! I have NO IDEA how I got this pin. The only other thing they have ever done is send me a postcard witha code for value resorts that wasn't a very good deal and we weren't going anyway.

I guess they took my responses to their questions when I ordered the planning video on-line (like if we were planning to visit - I said yes and that we were interested in moderate resorts). My pin was for $104 for moderates - most people have told me that that is a pretty good rate for June with no AP's.

So, order that planning video and get in the system and think happy thoughts!

We will be there May 30-June 4 so do we count on the June thread??? LOL.

DH, DS(14), Ds(11),DSIL, DBIL. and I will be there June 11-18!
Rented points for a 2 BRM villa at OKW can't wait!!! :jumping4:

DS 9 and I will be there June 4-11th. Also staying at CBR for the first time. This is only our second trip ever and the first one on our own. Any tips will be appreciated. :flower1:
