June Roll Call, who's all going?

Thanks for keeping this thread updated! So many people going in June... Im so excited for everyone. Im starting to feel the excitement. 21 more days! I got my luggage out for the first time tonight since Oct and started to pack some things so I can start getting prepared.

On this note, how long does it take DL to send out the travel documents?? I am used to having everything by now from WDW, getting a bit nervous that I don't have anything yet.

I was told that they send them out 21 days before thru UPS. Hope that helps.

We'll be there the 2-9.It's our last trip on our annual passes.I'm in mourning because DH won't let us buy anymore.Shame on him.

First week pindecisive

If everything goes as planned I will be at Disneyland June 5-7. We (my DBF and I) will actually only be at Disneyland on the 6th (my birthday) but we are staying the night before and the night after.

Yep! I need to go raid Home Depot! I thought I wasn't going to Disneyland until December but...at my DBF's family reunion on Saturday we found out that a distant cousin works for Disney and all we have to do is let her know 2 weeks in advance and it's free tickets for us!!! So we are going June 5-7. We will be at Disneyland on the 6th (my Birthday). Don't have hotel reservations yet...will update asap.

Do you guys decorate the doors or windows of your rooms? I was reading on another forum of all the things people do. It was pretty neat. If I can get DBF to let me I think I'll stick all of the different colored Mickey Head Paint Chips all over the door and window. Maybe I'll even bring some little Christmas Lights to but in the window. Also I was thinking of bringing some Happy Birthday window clings and also decorating the inside with balloons and streams since the 6th will be my birthday.

I have them on our luggage and one to put in our hotel room window (without name) as well as the one with my screen name on it that I attach to the bag I carry in the park.

That sounds like fun. We went to WDW in Dec. 2005 for Christmas, and I brought all kinds of decorations along. I had a special little tree, and decorated it with minature Disney ornaments I made out of stickers. I also made a wreath, and put all kinds of Home Depot Mickey Heads on it. Mostly lime green, green and red. I hung it on our door. Then I hung garland with lights on it in the window too. I had so much fun doing it. It was our Christmas for the whole family, so I wanted to make it extra special. The maid was so nice. She made us towel figures. The first one was a little Christmas Eskimo, and the second was a Chrstmas tree. She set them up by our tree. All made with white towels and little dot stickers. So cute. I wonder if DLR does towel animals? Does anyone know???

Hopefully you can decorate and others will be able to see and enjoy them.

I am really excited to start pin trading! I bought a bunch on eBay and my mom got me a Year of A Million Deams Lanyard. I haven't done this yet. I am going to wear a LGMHPC on my backpack and on my lanyard.

I guess i'm allowed to join this thread too.

Just posted that my "thrifty wife" will tear into me for booking 6/3 - 6/5 at Paradise Pier - Conseirge (sp) level.

So the "hounds" will be hangin' with the hoi ploi in 3 weeks. .

When we roll in, it will be like the Randy Quaid family (in the Vacation movies) .

But I can't wait to ride Senor Toad......& have a Dole Whip.

And I'm also glad to be posting with all the cool guys who get to to DLR in June.

Kat, if I was going the same time as you, I would be willing. But alas, I will be there before you. And guess what?? There are some of us who are meeting then. Can you change your dates and join us??? J/K...but I can ask you know. Good luck on your meet and greet!
PS- Our meet is on Sunday the 10th, and maybe another on Satuday the 9th.
