June reservation advice?

I have a reservation at Aulani for first week of June. My flights are already cancelled to Hawaii, but from a DVC point perspective is it better for me to cancel the Aulani reservation or roll the dice and have DVC do so? I have banked points in use for the reservation.

Apologies for perhaps the simple question, but I am still slightly confused about what to do about a reservation that may potentially be cancelled by Disney.

What is your UY? That might make a difference If you plan to try and book something else,

But, it sounds like so far, no other banked points will get extended unless their is a closure that last long enough that they can’t be used at all,

February use year, so I have until September to bank. I am not in danger of losing the points for some time. That said, I would need to find some resources to learn how to do RCI if I have to park them there. Thanks for any advice; and I realize there are definitely worse things to worry about and people in less good of a situation.

I am approaching the 30 day cancellation window, however, so just trying to determine if I cancel or have Disney do so. Risk is that Aulani reopens for June (which would be great for the local economy, I imagine, if can be done safely)

Since you won’t be going, then I would go ahead and cancel while they are still waiving holding points
