When do the summer hours begin?

We will be there from the 2nd of June.

We were there on the 2nd of June the last few years, and the hours during the week (Mon-Thurs) were from 8:00am-11:00pm and on weekends it was open from like 8 or 9am to Midnight. It was GREAT!!! Summer hours seem to start the last week of May or at least have been the last few years.

I am with mystic...they start in early june. Last year they were just like reg summer hours. I will be there at the same time and am so excited!! :)

FYI - a Grad Night is scheduled for Thursday, June 4th, so the Park will probably close at 9:00PM that day.

How busy are the parks later at night? I'm just wondering on taking breaks during the day. I plan on doing at least one each day around 1 or 2 when we get hungry for lunch and start to wilt but wonder if it would be better to plan on another one later in the day for dinner or just a break. Is it worth taking that second break or just stay till your done in? I will have my 4 year old (will turn 5 this trip) and will have a stroller for him to conserve energy. All the days we've been with kids before the park closed at 8 so it wasn't an issue. We will be within walking distance.

I would just take a long break but not two. I will probably not be in the parks super early unless the kids are up...ie I will not wake them. And then stay until just after lunch. Then we'll go back to the hojo and possibly swim and then nap. My kids usually nap for a at least 2 hours. Then we'll relax a little (depending on the kids) and head back to the park. I am not expecting to just hang in the room with two little ones but I am not going to rush anyone either. I expect to be back in the park around 5. Fireworks are at 9:25 so we should make that. I def dont expect to make it till closing, and may have to watch the fireworks from our room, but we'll try. Just gotta follow their lead.

If you do want to do 2 breaks then I dont see an issue with it other than I would probably go back for the 2nd break and decide not to go back to the park lol Just do what is right for your family. Perhaps try it the first day and if it works continue to do it?

How crowded are the parks on a week night (Monday or Tuesday) after fireworks? My extended family is planning for a day at DL when we convene for my aunt's wedding in late June and I know that the older kids and most adults will want to stay after, so I'm wondering if it would be wise to advise everyone to hold off on the big rides until later in the evening.
