June MK hours change

Yup- we said when we made the reservations that we knew up front they could and probably would change the hours.

While we're missing the pre-opening entry, it does add another hour to the morning lull. A lot of people just won't drag out that early so should make for easy riding!

There is an extraordinary advantage to staying at Bay Lake/Contemporary - no travel time to MK.

We even split our stay and walk to HS & EP from Boardwalk area.

Only AK proves to be a hassle for us.....and a hassle for everyone else.

We had an 8:05 at CRT on a day MK changed its opening to 8:00. We were NOT let in early (despite asking) and we had to RUN to the restaurant. I was sad that the change prevented a pre-opening castle pic, but that day turned out to be so foggy you couldn't see the castle!

That stinks! I'm so sorry. Sounds like maybe it varies.

And we ended up with one of those foggy mornings too.

Our BOG pre-opening ADR happens to fall on a random day that they decided NOT to open at 8:00 a.m. and kept the 9 a.m. opening. It's strange to me that they'll have one day in the middle of all the 8:00 openings with an 9:00 opening, but I'll take it!

I'd be encouraged that it's the one day they expected lower crowds. Glad it worked out for you!

I was surprised to see that Friday and Saturday during the week of our stay did not get changed to 8am- but it's all based on predicted crowd levels so assume that not only is your adr secure ( for now ) but you'll have lighter crowds! June gets busy as we all know. Enjoy!
