June/July Pal Mickey Swap - Finalized & e-mails sent!

I just wanted to post this information again to those of you who may be considering joining a JUNE/JULY Pal Mickey swap. We still have spaces open on ours, but I must have commitments by May 23 and all money orders mailed by May 25 in order for the first swapper to get the funds before they leave for vacation. I've copied and posted my section of the thread from the first Pal Mickey Swap thread.

Here's our swap as of now:

June 13 thru June 16 - MomlovesDad, drop off June 16pm or June 17 am.

June 17 thru June 20 - Sweet Maxine - (hehee, we're from the same state!) drop off June 20 pm or June 21 am.

June 21 thru June 24 - Tretrimble, drop off June 24 pm or June 25 am.

June 26 - - Mom2Madi

June 27 - June 29 - MC97

June 30 - July 3 - Tentative for bldg100 - still to confirm

July 4 - OPEN

July 5 - July 12 - Kguenther - drop off July 12 pm or July 13 am

July 13 - July16 - Clutter - drop off July 16 pm or July 17 am.

July 17 - July 25 - EiLuvCinderella - drop off July 24 pm or July 25 am.

July 25 - July 29 - Tiger5 - drop off July 29 pm. or July 30 am.

July 30 - August 3 - RobinMarie - to give to GKTW August 4!!


We've got just a few spaces left, so send me a private message with the dates you would like to have Pal Mickey and we will see what we can do! I will need to know by MAY 23 all who will be in the swap and have money orders mailed no later than May 25.

Any DISer who would like to have Pal Mickey some or all of these days, even though you may not be in the parks all the days, please let me know through Private Message. Another note - you only pay for the days you'll have him in the parks, and it appears our costs are below $2/day!

I haven't sent the money order info yet. I thought I'd send it along with the price per day once the swap is closed. I am waiting to see if June 26-July4 fills. That will lower the cost. The money orders will be sent to me - in Mississippi - since I'm the first on the swap, but the swap doesn't close until May 23. I will need the money orders mailed by May 25 to give them a couple of weeks to reach me.

We're in a holding pattern right now, waiting for a couple more - or one more - to join us during the open dates. Keep your fingers crossed!

I've just tentatively added bdg100 for June 28-July 3 to the above schedules. I'm trying to make them as easy to read as possible. We have just a few of you to hear back from as confirmation, then I can mail out the costs and where to send the money orders.

We do have a couple of days in between open. They are:
June 26- 27
July 4
Oh how I wish someone could take Mickey to WDW on July 4 - he REALLY needs to write down in his little notebook how wonderful the 4th of July is in WDW! So PM me if you can add him to your trip!

I need everyone who has requested to be included in the swap post your dates again to confirm, or send me a Private Message. In your message, I need you to include the number of days you will be in the parks using Pal Mickey. For instance, I will only have Mickey in the Parks for 4 days - passing him to Sweet Maxine on the evening of the 4th day.

I believe there are 3 I am waiting on for a confirmation that they want to join the swap. The days are really flying!!

Remember - I still have June 26-27 and July 4 open!

We've got one person to hear back from for confirmation that they want in on our swap, then I'll send out the final cost for Pal Mickey per day. It's just below $2 as of now, without including the person I'm waiting to hear from.

The tentative dates I'm waiting for confirmation on are June 28 through July 3 - so if anyone out there reading this is going to be there those days and may want Pal Mickey, I can put you on a waiting list in case those dates come open again. The actual time frame that is in question is 6/26 through July 4 - so let me know by Private Message.

For our swappers: I think it may be easier to begin handling this by e-mail. That's the first thing I check in the morning. I'll try to start corresponding through e-mail, if that's okay with y'all.

I hope you are all as excited about this as I am! I'm going to look for Mickey a backpack, notebook, and tag today!

I hope that something works out, mc97. When I stumbled on this thread, I was so surprised that the dates were open for the times of our trip. I'm getting excited that everyone is joining up, and I hope our swap goes well. I may have to look for some clothes for Mickey to wear. This will be fun!
