June, July, or October

So we have the opportunity to take an upcoming trip and there are three options for travel: the third week of June, the second week of July (right after the 4th), or the first full week of October. If we travel this summer, DS will be under 3 (his birthday is in September). However, the June dates are within the 60 day window and both summer months will be hot and humid. At the same time, it's been 10 years since we've gone to WDW in the summer (our most recent trip was the past October) and...I don't know if I can wait 5 months! What are your experiences? Am I crazy to want to go in the summer?

October is my absolute favorite time to go to Disney. Usually perfect weather & I love the Halloween decor. It would be nice to not have to buy a ticket for your son though. I'd go the third week of June, because it doesn't seem as hot as July to me. I hate humidity but love going in the summer-longer park hours, a more relaxed feel.

october hands down. only reason we do summer is if we have to. june is good cause of the tail end of sww!

October here, too, if you have a choice. We have to work around school schedules. Can't go in October. It is truly the best time to go.

We are going in both July and September to make up for it. I understand the desire to take the little one in July. I am taking my DD in July to celebrate her last free Disney trip. :)

Still think October would be better. Might even be overall cheaper if you can fit your trip into FD.

It's actually my favorite time of year to go.

Having previously traveled in June, July, and Oct I would absolutely say Oct
We went last Oct with our 2 yr old and enjoyed it so much we are going again this Oct with him again. Also early oct should be lower crowds than the summer (unless it is Columbus day weekend) so I think that is easier with a toddler.

Another vote for October, I will be there the 2nd week of July (no choice) so the more peopl I can encourage not to go the better :)

Of course, I am only kidding. If I had a choice I would probably go in October, but schedules an holidays dictate.

I would say October will be your best weather, but of course June or July will be cheapest, so that depends on how much that is a factor for you. I would choose June over July.

We are going the second week of July right after the 4th actually we arrive on the 4th. There are many dining reservations still available. I know Oct and June are very booked. I would go then to get good dining options.
